Kolskoot Potshot

Our experience here today was less than satisfactory for two main reasons. 1. I did not appreciate our health and safety being compromised by their failure to turn on the air circulation in the small indoor range, in spite of me requesting them twice to do so. The attached picture is mucus, after a mere 2 hours in the range, exposed to the smoke. 2. It is common knowledge that "range ammo" is FMJ's full metal jacets. When asking a gun shop for range ammo, one expects to be supplied with that and not soft tips for .223 or hollow points for .40 Cal. If they did not have range ammo on hand for the respective calibers, they should have advised so instead of knowingly selling us expensive non range ammo, unbeknown to us. This is not ok.

Took my nephew to get his bow and arrow weighted if that makes sense because honestly I have no idea what I'm talking about. He was pleased, I was pleased, we got McFlurries.

I have known Mike Henn since my school days. 1982. Bought my first firearm from them around 1986 or 1987. Have always received a warm welcome, good advice and friendly service.

I really enjoyed my experience at Kol Skoot. The staff are very friendly and know their stuff. I completed my competency through them and I learned a lot. I was nervous when shooting and the staff made sure to take their time with me to help me improve my accuracy and stance that in the end I was hitting centre target. I would recommend this range and on top you can do archery too! Also they help prepare you for applying to SAPS and give you insight in the process to make it as smooth as possible.
