Korsten Drivers Licence Testing Centre

Unfortunately, this facility seems to be experiencing problems with their computer system. We arrived there at 07h45 and the doors were still closed. It was raining, so we waited in the car, but there was a long line of people who did not have that luxury and were forced to wait out in the rain. Eventually, we phoned to see when they would open and were told that they would probably not be opening today! I don't understand why the people waiting in the rain were not told this, or at least invited inside to await the decision of whether business would be conducted or not.

What a pleasant experience today. I made a booking for 14:40 and got there quite early next any thing can happen and it might take long. To my surprise had very great service for start to finish. Drivers license renewal Ander 30 minute with friendly service.

The booking system is a great idea, however there still would need to be a few more tellers to process the large amount of people getting processed with the eye tests. Was impressed that phone call was answered and was made aware that drivers card was ready. Line wasn't too much of a wait, but the people there seemed quite 'moody' as it seemed they had been waiting for quite some time regarding the eye test and payment queue. Service regarding government institution - good.

Very helpful & friendly staff. Even though I had made an on-line booking for renewal of Driver's licence renewal, it didn't mention that you needed fotos, Bank statement to confirm address or any proof of your address, eye test or they test you, also need photo copy of your , arrive 1hrone hour before scheduled appointment, report at reception info to obtain form to fill in, need pen and R 216 & if expired d/licence before 4-6weeks time period to get a temporary copy of your d/licence renewal R 96, if needed. Pleasant experience & more organised than 5+ years ago, no long queues, after testing, then to pay at tellers 1-5 for payment of renewal & or temporary licence if needed, receipts & finish. They'll let you know once your renewed Driver's licence card has arrived for you to fetch.

The best service ever. Thank you to the staff for absolutely making my day. Had a appointment for 11.30 arrived at 10.07 and the took me immediately. I payed for my renewal license st 10.35 and was home at 10.55. Great service.

Efficient staff made my visit a very pleasant experience. No long faces when asking for information or directions to the next process. No waiting time for us over 60s and that is a big plus. The only problem I encountered is that there should be a sign showing the seating area for the cashiers. Otherwise I had nothing to comment on.

Staff were very helpful. From arrival to leaving 45 min to full inform, go past enquiries, eye test and payment. Thanks for the positive attitude.

I have gone the first time for my temp license. I had an optometrist certificate. When I went the second time within one month, they let me do an eye test and was told that I failed the test. Then they looked for my optometrist certificate and found it. Disappointed but lucky.
