Rooms in main building were definitely not up to standard, door locks were holding on by a thread. Bathrooms need attention as well. Breakfasts are very limited Noteworthy details: cleanliness is an overall concern. Cutlery not clean as well as received a dirty glass to drink out of.
The food was good but expensive so prepare to sell a kidney. The room was okay, but the area is very unsafe. I won't recommend going for strolls at nightRooms: 3/5
When we slept over in 2018 it was a lovely place for an overnight stay. However it appears that NO maintenance has been done on this establishment since then. This is my overall view of Country Hotels. We stayed over at the Calvinia Hotel in 2020 and our experience was the same.Rooms: 1/5
The room was very nice and the staff is very friendly. Would highly recommend for any traveler looking for their home away from home.
The front office staff is very friendy and welcoming ,the rooms are very spacious and clean not to mention the delicious oxtail.I will definitely come back. Rooms: The interior of the rooms is exquisite.
I went for supper and did not sleep there, the place was fully booked. The food was not that presentable and seemed very basic as if I prepared it myself.
I only went to the bar for a meeting. The service was really good. I was happy, and my client was happy too.Service: 4/5
