La Mercy Beach Hotel

Hotel needs attention. When asked for manager to raise issues, the lady manager was not friendly and eager to assist and really had an attitude. Think her name was Cynthia. Staff though tried there best to help and was friendly. Also the Indian male manager. Great service from him and friendly. Not nice stay at all. Only thing that was great was the view. Hotel next to them pool was beautiful. Rooms: Basin plug faulty, towel rail broken. Geyser for shower couldn't be regulated. Hot/cold water right threw shower. Bed and pillows very uncomfortable. No fridge in room. After 2 days we got one then it was freezing everything. No coffee given at coffee station in rooms and lady manager told they don't have but Saturday there was coffee in the restaurant station. Nearby activities: Far from restaurants and shops. Must uber. Food & drinks: Same tasteless breakfast given every day. Coffee served at breakfast was horrible. Noteworthy details: Outside pool was green and we could not swim. The ashtrays was not once emptied that we saw daily 4 days booked there. The stairs to beach was overgrown with plants and could not access beach from hotel.

Don't go here expecting a fancy hotel however, the rooms are very nicely done and are very neat with every room having its own beachfront view. it does take quite a bit of time to get service however, The staff all are amazing and are very friendly and everyone greets you with a warm smile. It's also situated in a nice, quiet area so it's nice and peaceful at most hours of the day I would 100% recommend a stay there

Great location. You'll sleep nicely if the sound of the ocean sits well with your senses. Beds could be softer though but linen was clean. We couldn't get hot water in the evening to shower. Only in the morning.Rooms: 2/5

We wanted to go out and have some lunch. Decided to visit this place after driving pass this place a few times. The service and drinks were decent, but I have an issue with the food. The food is a complete waste of money. We had attended and sat at the restaurant and ordered the veg platter. The veg platter was basically store bought items thrown in the pot and plated. This is not a restaurant. Further, what we received in the veg platter was not sufficient to fill one person. Absolutely waste of money in relation to the food. Left there highly disappointed due to the food.

Thank you for the most wonderful December holiday!! The entire hotel staff contingent were amazing in every way!! From the cleaning ladies to waiters to front desk staff. Including the owner This is truly a hidden gem. Perfectly situated. In my family's words..."the best Real holiday we have ever had" !

The view is amazing definitely... I do wish that that the 6 sleeper family room we got didn't have the ONE toilet and bathroom and the extra shower in an en-suite ... there was also no bar fridge in there to store anything.. room service prices are okay and food is okay too, breakfast is good and filling

Rooms are clean but no Wifi I moved rooms to get wifi on the add it say wifi free nothing. Complain no response. It is not what I expected.Rooms: 1/5

Had a function at the hotel. The Hotel Manager was extremely accommodating but the owners was not. I would not recommend having a function here.Service: 1/5

We went to the hotel for take aways that they serve. Reasonable prices on their menu. Very neat and modern look in and outside of this hotel. They do have their own bottle store to buy alcohol with just as reasonable prices.
