Laerskool Erasmia / Erasmia Primary School

Looks like a very nice school but I have to say the assistance is poor. I went today to ask for application for my boys and I had to wait for almost an hour outside at the gate. When I was eventually assisted, I was told the school is full and there are no space. According to what I know, all public schools have to make space available for kids because it is the government's duty to provide all children a fair right to education. When I ask how long is the waiting list....the answer is unclear. I am not applying for a vacation or to have fun. I am applying for my kids to be in a school which I will pay timeously every month. Can there be a better way of assistance please.

Toilets are unhygienic, they had a sports day today and let the kids sit in the sun for over 3hrs waiting to participate. Why wasn't there any protection from the sun for those little 6/7 year olds? I applaud the school for the efforts of sports and keeping the kids fit however there were multiple little ones complaining of feeling ill due to sitting in the direct sunlight as per their teachers word. One kid even had a nose bleed. To witness this was abit worrying, what if the parents werent around to assist their kids

Really happy with the friendly staff and teachers & principal. Both kids just love going to Erasmia Primary School.. The grade R teachers are amazing and all the teachers we interacted with since grade R up until grade 4 are easy to talk to and the teachers always give their all. Looking forward to meeting the grade 5 teachers.

I was a student at this school, the teachers are the best. They really do care for the students unlike most schools today. While I was there I learnt academically as well as emotionally.
