"Lakeside Brewing Co​.,​ established in 2013​ and situated in the picturesque suburb of Kommetjie​ is a craft brewery​ ​which stems from ​the love of a good old’ brewski and a desire to make something that captures some gees. For Lakeside, that gees lies in the adventure. Lakeside’s beers are brewed for the wild & free at heart and ​are best enjoyed in the great outdoors. Brilliant bar where the service is quick and the beers are great. Misty cliffs beer is a personal favorite of mine and highly recommended. The pizzas where completely unexpected and I can without a doubt say they are the best both me and my partner have ever had. Well done guys will deffo be back .
Fantastic brewery with great beer. Every beer we had was great and the vibe is awesome. Dog friendly as well. Beer is reasonably priced.

One of the few places you can chill on the grass with family/friends and have a cold one or two or three… they serve pizza Service is always great - thank you team Lakeside x
Good selection of well brewed beers, awesome pizza and very good staff.
A very laid back atmosphere, dog friendly, great pizza and beer. A great spot to hangout with friends and have a light bite. There pizza was delicious and their service was on the ball. Highly recommended!
Great staff, beautiful setting and amazing beer
Beautiful spot. Stopped in after visiting the beach. R150 for 2 small cocktails. Then to my shock the bar lady who I had been chatting to quite nicely just a minute before, proceeded to scold me for not leaving a tip. And she stared me down and gave attitude. I very flabbergasted asked where to put a tip, but she ignored me. Will not support you again.
Beer is so delicious it made my girlfriend pregnant. Stunning tap room in Kommetjie, great food and super friendly staff. Met the owner Morne and his girlfriend Anel, absolute legends. Loads for the kids to do at Imhoff Farm and dog friendly. 10/10 recommend.
A fab new addition to the Deep South - great beer, wine and cocktails and super stylish!
