3rd time going for my license and again never made it out of the yard. Oscar the examiner says I was not using my mirrors 3 occasions never made it out the yard guess this is the price one pays when things are done properly. No chocho No pass!

Worst experience ever, their system keeps going offline while people are queuing. Literally took 6 working days to change vehicle registration. Frustrating is an understatement! If I could rate it all negative stars, I really would.

Was at the traffic department today. So many people in the queue and no one came outside to let the people know that they have a problem with the cables. Had to hear from the people that are still waiting in the queue. If you are not going to be able to attend to the people at least stand outside and let the people know. Don't just sit inside and lock your doors.

All documents were in order for traffic register to write the learners test but the supervisor still made an excuse that the visa wasn't correct. Amandla the supervisor said that learners can not be issued to persons who have relative visas, only can be issued to work permit and study visas. She told me I can google and see. I googled and showed her that all the documents were in order then she made another excuse that why is the home affairs not giving the Permanent residence if we married for 15 years. I told her they keep on saying there's a backlog. She just refused to accept. We had to leave helplessly. Sorry to say but HARD NUTS!

The place is Brilliant they have changed completely no more ridiculous queues only those who have done a booking can be there otherwise you will have to leave..I went there to get my license this idea that you have to pay for it is a complete lie, if you go there well prepared by the driving school make sure you do all your observations and you can drive no rolling etc...You Will Have No Problems, a big shout out to the invigilater by the name of Faith, shes clear upfront with you, explains how each exercise in the yard must be done and on the road as well....God willing you will pass no need to stress and think they will fail you for nothing This idea that you will fail is from certain not all driving schools who lie to you and make money from you, I passed on my first attempt and did it the right way so can anybody ...Best of luck!!!

My worst nightmare. The Supervisor that attends to queries treats people like animals. He is very rude. The entire staff is exceptionally very rude .

This is a very busy place, I recommend that you double check any advice you receive at the gate as I got different answers from different people. If you are doing a traffic registration number turn right inside the main door, then left around the staircase and you will see a sign. The police outside told me that traffic registration is not done in all of Joburg.

Card collection department people they don't want to work at all I did my license in July 2022 on the 14 December I went to collect using my ID copy I used in August just because the ID copy was written new in August they just say is new in December without checking it how is it possible for December application to be new in second week of December

Did a vehicle ownership change, ID Copy, Proof of Residence was required. It was quiet and it is a Saturday. They open from 9:00 and seem to have closed by 10:30.
