My arrival experience was not great. I could not use the steam room, that I hoped for and the brochure advertised a treatment that was incorrectly printed and thus priced. I landed up going for the sports massage 60 min and 30 min foot massage. Lisa was brilliant and asked upfront, what I like and don't like. The spa ambience is very good, with ample treatment rooms. Even new slippers were provided, some spa's recycle theirs. And to end it off Camilla, who was working at the front desk, ensured I received the price advertised and I finally managed to use the steam room, albeit very small. Ladies no hairdryers are provided so keep that in mind. Finally, I will return and tell others about this hidden gem. It was worth it, with the staff making the experience memorable.
This spa is AMAZING! I have been there a number of times. The therapists are professional and very friendly. The facilities are clean and the atmosphere is super relaxing
The therapist wasn't very communicative but we soon fixed that. The massage was decent but not the best I have had. Well positioned and very clean I will go back when next in Johannesburg
My experience in this spa was awful, along time ago I didn’t have a massage so I was feeling very tense and wanted to feel less anxious, I said to the receptionist I wanted a massage to relax and also I specified that I have scoliosis so she should be more careful and NO STRETCHING, but they didn’t even say that to the “profissional”, I felt a lot of pain during the process, I barely slept while she was doing it cause it was very painful. At the end she stretched me, and it was awful. So after all, instead I feel relaxed and calm I was feeling worst than before and very moody. The next day I was feeling pain all over the body. NO RECOMMENDED!!!
Best spa and best treatments I’ve ever experienced. It’s very difficult to go to ANY spa once you’ve experienced a Lavana massage. Yes - I have been more “beautiful” and scenic spas, but nothing compares to the ACTUAL massage from Lavana. No one massages like those ladies at Lavana. I used to be an Aroma oil massage, but the Full Body Thai, Neck Shoulders and Back massage is where it’s at
My wife did waxing, manicure and pedicure here. The waxing was fine. Pedicure was ok ok. Manicure was worst. Her fingers were bleeding when she left the salon. She did inform the receptionist as well about this. Worst service in manicure and wouldn’t recommend this to anyone at all. I did apply bandage once she was back.

Really enjoyed the treatment here. I did the aroma thai massage 90 mins with Nancy and it was super relaxing
Surprised with a back and neck treatment by a friend. It was good. Needed. It's Thai ladies. Professional. Little bit rushed towards the end. My neck hurt a bit the next day. Back to tense again the day after.
While I found the facilities great and the masseuse good, there was a lot of noise surrounding the room which took away from the relaxing experience. The rooms are clean and Covid protocol was adhered to.
