A huge, huge store with a variety that's mind boggling! We got our awesome tool kit here and found finicky light bulbs other folk didn't have! The wall of Loo seats was inspiring!!!
This place literally has anything and everything even online the only pity is that some stuff is not kept in the store
I really used to love this place. Let's go Through why I dropped my review rating. Firstly, they have great product range and offerings. The store is generally well layed out. The negatives for me- 1. Lately their pricing is off. I have often found items 15-20% cheaper elsewhere. 2. Such a headache dealing with the building counter downstairs. More than once I've had bad service and actually just walked away. 3. The pricing on the shelves isn't correct. I've actually started noting the pricing and at the till they do correct it BUT that takes 10minutes plus. Overall, my experience has been positive but the building department is a headache to deal with and the pricing is out.
Terrible Experience: Avoid Ordering Delivery from Them! I must share my horrendous experience with this company and strongly advise against ordering delivery from them. It feels like an absolute scam! We placed an online order for delivery, which was scheduled to arrive two days ago. Unfortunately, the situation has been nothing short of a nightmare. Firstly, despite having builders waiting on site, we have had to constantly reach out to them for updates. Each time we call, we are put on hold for an astonishing 15 minutes, only to be promised a call back that never comes. It's incredibly frustrating! To make matters worse, attempting to speak with the manager has been an exercise in futility. They seem to be nowhere to be found or simply unwilling to address our concerns. It begs the question: where is this company heading? Should we escalate the matter and report them to the ombudsman? What's truly disappointing is their lack of willingness to even consider refunding our purchase. It's clear that they prioritize their own interests over customer satisfaction. This is absolutely unacceptable! Feeling powerless, we have decided to take matters into our own hands and report this company to the consumer consumer tribunal. We believe that such negligence and disregard for customers should not go unnoticed. In conclusion, I urge everyone to stay away from this company's delivery services. The frustration, lack of communication, and absence of accountability have left us deeply dissatisfied. Save yourself the trouble and choose a more reputable and reliable option for your needs.
Leroy Marlin have changed the shape of shopping in SA, for the better. Friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable staff. Reasonable prices and great selection of goods. Shame they don't take AM Ex though!
Nope guys!!!! This is utterly frustrating!!! The Lalela Inverter you sold us in February had a acid battery whilst Lithium batteries came out in January. Getting a replacement battery is a challenge par excellence!!! BTW 150 cycles could not have been achieved yet if your 150 cycle us the yard stick to justify this product Customer care at this place is actually customer FRUSTRATION from the highest level!!!!

I ordered my Oukitel wp 16 on 30th of May. I recivced the device yesterday. 07 June. Now the delivery took a while, however where I am is quite a challenging location. It took Takealot u 7 weeks to deliver here and calling take alot is like chewing on barbed wire. Yet if I have it right the courier had some misunderstanding. Yet, the service from Merlin Leroy Corner Blackrock Street and, Stoneridge Dr, Edenvale was superb. Kayla gave me her number and answered immediately when I needed clarification. Also the answer was swift. Thanks so much. The device seems super cool and Im loving my new phone. You will be blessed.
The store is centrally located, large and has a great variety of stock. You can find everything you need there. Although the staff are friendly, they seem to lack knowledge about what they are selling. Overall, it's a convenient option for your shopping needs.
Great store layout with many innovative ideas, like tool hire. The products are of a good quality and the prices are competitive. I've purchased 3 times now and unlike majority of the reviews I haven't had the best service. For example, today they had an outdoor umbrella on sale but I couldn't find staff to assist with locating the concrete stand which is sold separately. It was very frustrating that 2 different staff members couldn't help. We were even willing to take one of the 3 display units but the staff weren't interested. So I just left the product ready to walk out. My wife convinced me to try 1 more gentleman John who save this from being a 1 star review. He packaged a display unit for us and arranged a trolley to go. I did have a chat with his manager Wynand about the situation though. On 2 previous occasions the staff were also very uninterested. I was looking for LEDs on one visit and a sink stopper on another. Maybe I'm just unlucky at this store as majority of reviewers seem to have had positive experiences.
Big store, lots of variety and very helpful staff. We were looking for cast iron pots but unfortunately they only sell them online, bummer because I needed to see it 1st before I gifted it as a wedding gift.
