Liberty international was founded in 1990 by Mario Enzesberger, Austrian born, as a respond to the emerging opportunities arising from the borders opening in Eastern Europe.
Liberty international is a destination management group of companies who provides travel and professional and technical services to Fit’s, Tailor made Fit’s traffic, groups, incentives events and conferences, adventure tours , outdoor management training groups, and team building groups.
Liberty international Travel Group, registered in Vaduz and head office in Prague, is a profitable private company whose daily operations as well as short and long-term development planes are based on 100% internal funding.
The Liberty group was developed in six stages:
Stage one was establishing destination management companies in central Europe.Stage two was expending the group activity to Western Europe and the Middle East. Stage three was investment in South Africa.
Fourth stage was South America. Fifth stage was Asia and Spain
Six stage is Greece, Romania Cuba, and Ukraine. As of today, sixteen years after the first Liberty Company was established in Prague, liberty International is operating from the following cities:
London, Prague, Budapest, Bonn, Berlin, Salzburg, Vienna, Ljubljana, Riga, Warsaw, St Petersburg, Athens, Cairo, Tel Aviv, Addis Ababa, Nairobi, Johannesburg, Cape Town , Istanbul, Buenos Aires, Paris, Rome, Milan, Rio de Janeiro , Sao Paulo , Barcelona , Madrid , Honk Kong , New Delhi , Sidney , Casablanca , Tripoli , Vancouver , Tokyo , Munich , Kiev , Havana , Amman and Bucharest.
Liberty plans to be by middle 2008 in Peru, Mexico, Guatemala, Ajarbeijan and Vietnam.
All companies (42 companies in 35 countries) are LIBERTY companies and carry the name Liberty i.e. Liberty London, Liberty Prague, Liberty Budapest etc.
In addition to liberty’s travel business Liberty international expanded its interest into human resources (1997), hotels and resorts management (1999) and transport (2002).
Liberty International expects its international traffic to reach in the year 2007 450,000 pax which comes from a growing loyal network of partners (more then 950) with a turnover of 85,000.000 Euro.
Liberty's partners are one of its major strength. We are looking after our partners and reword them for its production and loyalty to the Liberty Group.
Liberty’s worldwide structure, a key to Liberty’s success, is that Liberty international A.G., The holding company, is always a major shareholder in a liberty local company.
The local managing director (or the [partner company, if it is a company) is always a shareholder (it is compulsory) and shares the Local Company's success and profits. This setup allows the Liberty companies to act as a unified group and at the same time to express its creativity and individualism.
