Limpopo Clinical research Initiative is owned by Dr. Leon F. Fouche.
Leon is an experienced Clinical Research Physician involved in clinical research since 1999.
He does believe that clinical research can make a significant contribution to healthcare in a challenging healthcare service delivery environment. He thus relocated his site from Johannesburg to Thabazimbi in the Limpopo province in 2009.
The Limpopo Clinical Research Initiative, that includes a dedicated research facility, was established by him in the previously under serviced geographical area of the western Limpopo province as a successful capacity building enterprise.
The complete equipped facility also has a full complement of clinical research staff with a mission to deliver quality data. No critical findings were made through audits and regulatory inspections.
This Initiative introduces a multiple of local health professionals to clinical research and is adding value and support to the local community healthcare services. All GCP education and training given is sponsored by the Initiative from its own resources.
Leon has a true passion for the beauty of the Limpopo bush veld and the well being of its people.
