Wow, great vibe… early morning coffee, breakfast and a beautiful view. What more do you need. Food’s great and that COFFEE …….. A must visit. Well done on a amazing allround experience.
We only had coffee, and it was delicious. The outside appearance drew us in, and the atmosphere and coffee inside did not disappoint. The din of conversation from the crowd adds to the experience: this place is super busy because it's so good. Glad we popped in!Food: 5/5
I've had some of the best breakfasts here, and the coffee is so amazing!especially if you love a decent cup to start your day,the vibe is urban and rustic and the breakfasts are the best in town! Explains why this place is always so busy .Food: 5/5
Had a great time, fantastic view. Great service even during a busy morning. Super tasty food. Really enjoy their coffee. Would definitely recommend a visit.
Great coffee, delicious food, magnificent! The perfect seaside coffee shop, bakery and breakfast stop! The greatest part? It opens early, so you can have a surf and quick breakfast before the morning commute. We really enjoyed Hans and Lloyd. A highlight!Food: 5/5
On a cold and rainy day what a perfect lunch stop at Hans and Lloyd. Views of the ocean, cosy fire on the go and a warm friendly welcome. Great burger and wedges and a delicious falafel salad. The health juices were also delicious. Highly recommended if you are in Muizenberg Surfers Corner.
Had the best breakfast with bacon, pork sausage & pork belly. The sweet spicy sautéd tomatos was a treat. Eggs Benedict was amazing Strong coffee rounded off the meal. Friendly staff, great service, lovely views, ample parking, yummy cakes, dreamy ice-cream, great coffee beans. Cherry-on-top is that socialized well behaved pooches on a leash are welcomed. Generous portions meant we'll need to come back again to sample the cakes & ice-cream We sooo loved this spot. Vegetarian options: Nice options on the menu Parking: Come early. The Surfers Corner fills up fast over weekends.
The food was incredible, and the service even better. Plus they're dog-friendly. My heart and stomach were very full at breakfast!Food: 5/5
Coffee was okay. Atmosphere was chilled and good for a coffee or smoothie. A bit of a delay getting the coffees. Coffee is good but could taste that the milk quality wasn't good, and for someone who takes no sugar, milk quality is importantFood: 3/5
I was a regular here but the cost of the food is no longer reasonable and so I pop in far less frequently. Their shakshouka is incredible, but jumped up in price from around r85 to now r130, which is insane for a vegetarian dish which contains nothing which is majorly exotic or seasonal. It's eggs, toast and spicy tomato sauce. A bacon, egg and cheese roll with a side of fries is now r90, which also seems unreasonably steep. It's a pity because it was my after surf go-to spot and I was more than happy to be there and supported them heavily right from when they opened. Now it feels like they're taking the mickey. The food is good, the coffee is excellent, the staff are super friendly, but I feel the value has gone out the window of late.
