Love Laundry, Soap Suppliers & Home Care is a new one stop concept business for the cleaning industry.

Description

@ Love Laundry, Soap & Home Care we love what we do, and strive to give everyone the best service and advice. We have a full service launderette that caters for the local community and holiday makers for washing, drying and ironing of clothes, linen etc. We also have a fully stocked Soap Shop that supplies a vast range of chemicals for domestic use such as car wash products, washing soaps, detergents etc. We also stock a range of cleaning accessories like brooms, mops, hangers, washing pegs, laundry baskets and buckets. Our Home Care division concentrates on taking care of holiday homes inside and out in the absence of the owners. We do periodic cleaning of homes to eliminate damp buildup of homes standing locked up and closed for months on end. We high pressure clean the exterior of the home to eliminate the buildup of fungi on patios and pavements also preventing corrosion on window frames and balustrades. Taylor made packages are setup to suit the requirements of each home owner. Packages are also tailored for local residents which include window cleaning, gutter maintenance etc!

Definitely the most entertaining laundry place I’ve ever visited. Upon entering, the owner who I didn’t know was associated with this business was dancing on the street in front of the door. There was loud music in there, like a dance club. He walked in and spoke to us and I initially thought he was going to ask us for money. Then he told us in English he was the owner of the place and the laundromat is like his home and he is welcoming us into his home. He was very helpful, talking with my boyfriend and even sharing a beer with him. He helped us fold our laundry, actually he helped my boyfriend fold his laundry because I think he was being respectful with mine since I had “intimate apparel” in my mixture of clothes. All the locals coming in to do laundry seemed to know him well, greeting him and making small talk. The owner was extra attentive to people who were clearly tourists, just like us. I think his extroverted personality can be overwhelming for some but respect goes a long way and he was extremely kind and helpful in return. We got our laundry cleaned and enjoyed good conversation in return.
A popular local spot and due to its location, many travelers using as well as locals. Plenty of people to advise if you need help. I ran into someone from my hometown in California who happens to be living in Paris. Highly recommend, 4 or 4.5 euro for most laundry machines, 1 euro for 10 min drying. A great deal for this area in Paris.
Great experience ! When you come to wash your laundry you expect a reliable machine and a clean spot, both expectations are completly met! The owner was also super helpful and speaks English !
I went in the day before and asked what time they would open and they told me 8 online it says 7:30 I showed up at 8:30 and it was still closed. Very inconvenient and uncourteous. Pricing was good and my previous two times there have been positive experiences but this last time was not good.
Using the laundromat isn't obvious at first. A single machine controls the whole place. Press the numeric keypad twice to get it to show English. From that one machine you can turn on a numbered machine if the door is closed or instead also get the soap dispenser. Dryers work the same way.
First-rate and very reasonable. New Miele machines. The friendly gentleman who is on-premises is fluent in English and extremely helpful. He is a former French army officer and completely de-stresses your experience by showing you how to work the machines, get soap, etc., and will watch your things while you get a coffee during the 45 minute wash cycle. Under 10 euros and in an hour and 5 minutes you are good to go with a clean new suitcase of clothes! My new go-to cleaner in Paris.
The owner kept interfering with us because apparently we weren’t doing things fast enough for his liking. I got really nervous with him standing over my shoulder and I could even think. Then he yelled at me and told me to stop being so nervous. So I told him that he was the one making me nervous. Oh dear! Wrong thing to say! Then he raised his voice and started really yelling at me He said “I’m here to help and you’re just being rude to me!” I moved away from the machine for him to help and he didn’t do anything! so I tried again, and he started yelling that I wasn’t closing the machine right. I almost cried. I finally asked him why he was so angry with me and that I was a paying customer. He screamed back saying “I’m the owner and YOU are a guest in my Laundry!” Once the machine was running, I went off to get coffee and when I walked out, he said “Goodbye little baby!” Don’t ever come here—especially if you see a guy in a Turban with a Che Guevara shirt on!
Easy to use. In a little more than an hour you have all your clothes washed and dried. Ask anyone for help to use the machines, people are usually very helpful. Not expensive at all
DON’T GO HERE ESPECIALLY TOURISTS! I WAS IN FEAR FOR MINE AND MY MOTHERS LIFE! The crazy black male who’s there everyday and all day. Who claims to own the place, AGGRESSIVELY approached us and got up VERY close to the point where I thought he was going to attack us. He threatened us! He was screaming and yelling at us and kept getting crazier by the second, even though we weren’t doing anything wrong. He’s extremely dangerous!!! He threatened for us to leave and we had to get out of there as quickly as possible! I left feeling so scared and traumatised! There was people in there and no one did anything to intervene either. FEMALES YOU ARE NOT SAFE HERE! AVOID THIS PLACE. I advise tourists especially to NOT GO HERE!
One of the better experiences in Paris. The owner is kind, speaks over thirty languages so he says and is over-the-top in a good way. Hang out there to take in Parisian life and chat with locals, or go across the street for an espresso. Don't worry about figuring out how to run the machines. You will be helped and your stuff is safe.
