We had the opportunity of spending an evening at Love Lions Alive Sanctuary and there are no words to describe our experience. We were made aware of Line and Andi's life works by our colleague Maddie and by watching the passion in Line as she talks about each lion has made me fall absolutely in love with this place and the energy it holds.
Absolutely incredible experience. Andi and Line are genuinely the most caring human beings to have existed! If you decide to do the overnight experience please ensure you understand that you are there for the big cats and to learn about them, you are not there to have this glamorous experience. It’s an educational experience, and if you have the guts for it you might be able to volunteer and learn even more. This isn’t a place for someone who does not enjoy the sound of lions roaring through the night, or some bugs, or dusty plates that need a rinse. This is a place for people who want to learn and experience the cats! I am inspired by these amazing people and wish I had more money to donate! Thank you for the life changing experience.
Thank you all for an inspiring 3 days. From the beautifully ethnic farm house, to the lions roaring their gutteral sounds at all hours, to Line telling us about the cat's past and showing her interaction and dedication to each one. What an experience and would recommend it to anyone.
If you love lions or big cats, and you want to help these beautiful cats, then Love Lions Alive is the right sanctuary deserving your attention. It is a very humbling experience to spend time with the big cats, while participating to the daily life at the sanctuary and listen to Andi, and the stories behind each individual big cat. How can you help? By donating/adopt a lion/volunteer.
Absolutley amazing place and to see how these wonderful animals are rescued and then looked after to get them back to the wild and back to the amazing animals they are. Will definitely be going back!!
It was the best all the lions are in great care and our guide told us all different stories about each lion that was rescued But what I most love about this Place is that it is a Sanctuary so they don't breed and there enclosures are massive 2 hectares each.
Great initiative to assist Lions in need of rescue. We were welcomed by Andi and given a very informative talk & tour of her facility. Andi shared some interesting stories about her lions and the history of her initiative. Her lions look in amazing condition and are obviously very well looked after. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit.
Great for 1 night sleepover. Rooms are basic but all you need
Really disappointed today to find out that you had to make a 2 day prior appointment to visit the sanctuary. Sad loss to the tourism sector
What Andi and Line is doing for the lions is just amazing. We are hounored to have had the chance to visit them and see what they do.
