Lucien Beach Margate

Family friendly beach, it is safe, clean and very enjoyable. On every sunny day we come to this beach with our dogs too. Highly recommended

The best beach with safe parking, clean public toilets, life guards are alert and on duty from 7am to 6pm. Beach is protected from North Easterly winds which is a bonus. Much less crowded than Margate main beach

Very clean beach. Not many people lots of space to relax and play kids. This is a blue flag beach.

One of the best beaches for me on the South Coast. Long even gradient of depth which is perfect for swimming. Have life guards

Stay away from this beach. Just around the corner from the main beach a huge pipe spewing out sewerage. Some days the smell is unavoidable and instany recognizable. Aslo I would give the ice cream a skip as it wasted 3 days of our holiday spent in the bathroom….

Still my favorite beach. Umbrellas for hire, tidal pool isclose by to if you dont feel like being in between the rough waves.

Awesome swimmable beach

Lovely natural protection against winds coming from Uvongo's due to the beach being next to the hilltop. Natural current beside the rocks pulls you deeper when you want to go surfing. Nice beach to relax and enjoy the day!

Very nice beach, busy during peak time but not as busy as Margate beach.
