Good to know this is still old school, where service and quality is top priority, i ordered parts and was always informed when they would arrive genuine or replacement. I went to collect, also took my 90 mercury gearbox which was stuck in gear no problem stripped and fixed while i waited maybe a half hour completely serviced , no more back yard mechanics for me. 40 years in business it shows.
The owner and his wife is the rudest people i have ever spoke to over the phone..No people skills

They always help be it a small item or anything you need Lutz always helps. Their workshop is great for servicing your motor. Prices for all other needs are good. I will support them and recommend them highly.
I would like to believe the workshop quality is good. The serviced boat runs well and pulls strong. The prices are very high, would say 10-30% above equivalent in the area. Also did not pick up all faults on the boat the 1st time around.
They failed to return my boat the same way they found it which resulted in a dead battery which has to be replaced but worst of all they refuse to take any responsibility for their mistake, they are never wrong!! And even when they are wrong will continue to argue. The only fact that matters is they found the battery disconnected, very common for Vaal river users whose boats stand for long periods BUT they did not bother to leave it as they found it, costing me R1'500, now it's my fault for not telling them to disconnect the battery again.. Sorry you are WRONG!!!
