My daughter and I went to Makro this morning and were delighted at the excellent customer service from ALL the staff we came into contact with at Makro. So nice when you are served by helpful, friendly and very pleasant personnel. THE FIVE STAR RATING IS FOR THE STAFF.
Very pleased with the sales lady we dealt with today. Bought a washing machine, microwave and table top oven. All on promotion. She knew her products.
Disappointing customer service. Drove all the way for an item but it's suddenly significantly more expensive in store. The attendant insists that I should have selected "in store shopping as my option on the site". I explained that online only purchases are usually stipulated next to the item. This had no such stipulation. It also stated that it's in stock at this store. The attendant refused to listen and kept insisting it's online only and I must choose the shop in store option. this shows a serious lack of knowledge of the company website. He called for a manager who never came. I was then late for my next appointment so I just left without completing my purchase.

The new makro store is great. I was hungry and tried the takeaway outside called hunters cafe....worse takeaway place ever.i ordered medium fries and a medium according to them.."famous boerewors roll", which they charge to put onions on but didn't tell me...firstly the prices are exorbitant then their so called famous beef wors roll which was the worse worse I have ever put to my lips.tasted like soya mince that was grainy and mushy ...NO way that roll is famous n NO way is there anything to write home about about that wors ..after 3 bites I threw it away ...SIS eww horrible is an understatement...price vs quality of their food is like eksoms promise to keep the lights on for the country....NEVER AGAIN..save your money and your taste buds and rather go to a shisanyma for a good wors roll .HUNTERS CAFE YOU NEED TO CLOSE DOWN PLS DONOT TRY AGAIN..
