The one particular staff member person was enjoying cycling around the store, and not interested in greeting properly, and/or my request to help see if there was another kettlebell. When we did find someone to help, it took him a few minutes to get back to us. They didn't have another in stock, but maybe they could have offered the display item at a ¿ discounted price, or maybe checkedif they have ordered more.. .
I bought a fridge 17/11/2022. The salesman told me they are going to call me 18/11/2022 to arrange for delivery. I never received a call. I tried to call the number that shows on the internet several times. They told me I cannot phone the branch directly. I send an email to Bfn branch. Suddenly Jaco sent a mail back stating they will deliver that day and call me before they come. They did not. They phoned when they arrived at my place while I was in a meeting. I left and rushed home. I sent Jaco an email afterwards and till today I didn't receive any feedback. I will advise people to think before visiting Makro. I am really disappointed. Thank you for nothing.
This store always has enough staff in shelves to help customers. As a result I don't have any minute wasted while trying to find an item in store. Tills always have sufficient attendants to serve long queues in few minutes. Peace of mind shopping experience everyone can enjoy.
This place used to keep excellent stock of items. Nowadays most products are missing or sold out, no matter what time of the month. Specials are also much less appealing than before. Much less specials now and staff constantly in your way, standing around chatting with no respect to the client. Competition is doing a much better job.
The service, well you can’t call it service so whatever it is, it’s terrible. I order two fridges online on the 9 Dec that was delivered on the 23 Dec. Both fridges were damaged that was collected only on the 25 January. We are still waiting for the new fridges. 9 weeks and counting....
Really disappointed with the staff/internal store arrangements at Makro. Wanted to buy some stationery, but for some reason, certain stationery needs to be paid for in the department. Your not allowed to go out of that department without paying. So you have to make different payments for different products in the same store? If it is about security, what are you paying the staff and security staff for!?? Stock losses are prevented by excellent customer service. Not one staff member offered to assist me. Just a reminder to shop elsewhere where customers are not treated like criminals!!!!!!
Whilst the service at Makro deserves 4 stars, the Courier company reflects very badly on them. A parcel that was ordered on 18 January 2023 with estimated delivery within 5-7 days has still not been received. Very poor communication from the couriers. I have sent countless emails, tried to phone Kimberley and Bloemfontein offices numerous times with no reaction at all.
Customer care improved, but can still do better. Employees can be identified easily. I received a "Good afternoon mam, can I help you?" Unfortunately other areas in the store I had to ask for assistance while a group of employees were chatting. Focus at all times on customers' needs makes the difference. Over all friendly service, I"ll call again.
I bought a bicycle meant to be a christimas present for my daughter on December 18th 2022 from makro online, it was meant to be delivered 23rd December till this day do not have the bicycle. i requested for refund on the 8th January 2023, till today i have to beg you for my money!!!! your services are horrible yeer mahn...
I like the specials and now new card app... So I don't have to carry the physical one anymore. I was clean, but my only issue was with how some item don't have prices so you kind of struggle and there is no barcode scanner so you can find out.
