A good place to shop. Anything you need you’ll find it at Makro guaranteed!!!

I went to return a faulty product.  The returns staff were very unhelpful and arrogant.  I eventually gave up and just left after a while. Really horrible unfriendly service. The service was terrible. From now on I'll buy whatever I can either online or some other retailers.

Lot of special and good customer service

I went around the holiday season so it was obviously packed. I don't recall spending more than 10 minutes in line, they're always so quick and efficient.

I used to buy here for my restaurant. Had great service with Brendan. He then left. Tilly Ngoepe came to my restaurant gave her number as the new sales rep. Since then the service I get consists of one, or a combination of the following: Takes weeks to get back to me, gets the orders wrong, doesn't confirm my order and packs my orders without telling me, overcharges on delivery, and tells me I should phone my orders in, she's not responsible for me even though she came to my shop and gave me her number. When I phone multiple times no one answers. When I phone Makro Management I'm cut off.

I enjoy shopping at Makro, I get everything I need for the household in one place. The store is always clean. The service is very very fast. I enjoy the deals that the always offer. Makro is a great shopping place in Polokwane.

Wonderful service at a reasonable price Mrs Patricia is a good Manager and her Co workers as well, plenty of good deals in-store.

DO NOT  use the online service. 2 weeks passed still no delivery. No answers, just "We will get back to you", and they never do. Today we were told we can expect delivery on thursday. Website states 2 to 5 working days. Maybe makro working days is only one day a week, hence the 3 week delay. Asked how long for a refund, 7 working days, at this pace, 7 working days might aswell be a year. Cant speak to a delivery guy as hes on tea time for the next hour and half. Thank goodnes it wasnt lunch. One star for atleast answering the phone.

Edit: It's been over a month since the below incident happened, I filled out the form Makro sent for my details below and still have not received any contact from them. I'm definitely taking my business elsewhere as customer service is clearly not important  nation-wide  Absolutely appaling treatment received. My wife are from out of town and accompanied our family from the area into Makro. Naturally we were just browsing whilst the rest of our family were doing their normal shopping, and we noticed security within the store watching us and following us. My wife went to see something in the clothing section with her sister, and a security guard started questioning her when she bought the clothes she was wearing which she came into the store wearing. She walked away from him after telling g him she received the hoodie she was wearing as a gift from her mother. As we were exiting the store a guard grabbed my wife's arm and roughly pulled her back into the store, accusing her of stealing the hoodie she was wearing. After arguing with them for 5min, telling them the exact time we came in and to look at their security footage, a manager came through and told them to let us go, saying he would talk to his staff. We've been shopping at Makro for years and are absolutely appalled at how we were treated in the shop and it's making us consider taking our support elsewhere.

EDIT: Well... Funny how you always have to become a monster in order for someone to help you.  Regarding my matter below... my order was just delivered.  Thanx.. _____________________ If I could give a review with NO STARS... I WOULD! I am so tired of writing this review. It just makes me more mad every time!!! I placed a order on the 25th of September 2022. From the 30th of September me and my husband have been phoning and emailing Makro regarding my order, just to do a followup. On Friday the 2nd of September, I have had just about enough of Makro not giving any feedback or telling us that they are waiting for Makro Polokwane or they will TRY to send my order. So, on Friday I sent a Nasty Email, because I was furious. Makro phoned me and apologized for the inconvenience and the fact that I am unhappy and said that they PROMISE to deliver my order the same day or the next day Saturday 3rd of September. So... here we are.. Monday 5th of September. STILL NO DELIVERY or ANY Feedback from Makro!!! I am SO disappointed!!! I have emailed, reviewed and messaged Makro on Facebook and Instagram. Still no feedback. Only thing they said today was.. "We are still waiting for Makro Polokwane..." THAT IS NOT MY PROBLEM! I ordered the Item and your website specifically said delivery within 2-5 days! How long has it been and how long do I still have to wait... SHAME ON YOU!!!! This was my FIRST time ordering online from Makro, and most certainly my LAST!!!
