Well the most visited makro by me. Unfortunately i left the country already.
I had a horrible experience at this store today, this happened after we opened a stokvel account at the store and we were never told to keep till slips for deposits made since inception of the account. The manager was not helpful, instead insisted that we should obtain an affidavit for payments made, even after producing a valid ID and the Makro card. This is worse because the procedure of what ought to have happened was explained at the end when we wanted to make a purchase.
Please train your cashiers customer care & experience. From the time I went to the service desk to obtain my customer number04967534 to the cashier cashier #1061 where we paid our goods we were met with unnecessary attitudes throughout. We went as far as packing our own goods as this lady literally sat and uttered not a single word or moved a muscle to assist further. We ended up grabbing the plastic bag on her counter and helping ourselves. Please train your staff on customer experience as this was uncalled for!
It is a massive store which guarantees the shoppers of finding almost all their shopping requirements there. From electronics, clothing, building materials to normal household items kits all in there. The covid-19 protocols are firmly observed, this creates queues but the queues are smooth moving that you don't even realize that you were waiting. There are also a lot of specials to be found in store on a regular basis. Phenomenal store.
One of my most favorite one-stop shop that I visit more often when stocking up grocery my grocery because I always find what I need. It is very convenient and the service is much improved now with their express tills which has been a highlight of me
Bought appliances on the 23 November. On the day of delivery I was told they did not have dishwasher and promised to get it by tuesday the following week and deliver. Today more than 2 weeks the fridge that was there was sold to someone else. Moved from dishwasher to fridge. This is really not acceptable. The Makro corporation team needs to look at this matter. You are taking people s money and sell what was already bought to another customer. Dont even sure when we will rzceive the paid item. This is very poor customer service.
Most comprehensive range. Don't shop on a Monday,shelves are bare. Restock should be prior to trading. 11am still too many gaps
This is to Mbongeni, my brother u are a star. I went into makro store to just have a look at the fridges the have in store but I ended up buying a double door mirror fridge and a mirror micro oven at a very reasonable price. Keep up the good work
Love makro shop, their specials are great.i just love their rewards program also. I will definately be going back for more of their specials, do check it out.
Security officer was helpful the scaning of goods before you exit the store made us realise we had left 2 items by the till,the security lady was so hepful its a pity I can not remember her name. We enjoyed our shopping in a clean and safe environment where they kept on reminding us to keep our valuable safe and not to accept shaddy deals
