Malmesbury Caravan Park

On arrival, everything seemed to be fine. As the evening went on, it got worse and worse. First to discover the pool is so green you can't see the bottom. Then to be told to hang clothing inside the tent otherwise the people who brake in through the fence at night will steal it really broke our feeling of security. And when we woke up the next morning, every single crevice of our camp trailer was covered in ants. I hate ants. Would not recommend Stay away.

This is by far the worse camp site I have ever been at. None, zero, not one ounce of maintenance is done. Dirty is a understatement grass not cutt, sites literally look like a building site with all the loose bricks and half broken glass I can go on and on. Regards to the swimming pool, dirty green and not maintained. No security, gates are not closed /locked at night even tho the camp site is right next door to a prison. Please avoid at all cost if you value your belongings and safety. Care taker is also very annoying keep asking to help him with his car then to take him to get petrol etc literally paid for one night stayed an hour and left.

We would not come here again because of price, pay per person, even children and not per chalet. It is highly over priced, but enjoy the tranquility. No other place charges per person, especially not children!!

A very dangerous place with dirty ablutions. No Access control ,you are told you on your own. Avoid if possible

I would not recommend this place to anyone. The Chalets are not being cleaned at all. Dust and sand, spiderwebs, dirty linen and dirty mats. Some of the pillows was covered in blue government hospital pillow cases. The swimming pool is green and has not been cleaned over a long time. The place have so much potential, but is terribly neglected. The manager is rude, even acussed us of stealing mirrors in the male and female public toilets. When we got there we had to pay to get keys for the Chalets and we did'nt get it back.

An absolute disappointment. This place has so much potential, beautiful trees, yet so unkept. The ablutions are disgusting, Pool green and dirty. The rates are ridiculous and definitely not worth it. No other campsite charges per person. Will not recommend to anyone and not visit again.. doesn’t even deserve 1star...

Place need URGENT attention. Shower drain blocked. Units not clean, Bedding on beds not clean. A lot of spider shelf in units, that means that units is not kept clean regular.

What could potentially be a very good camping site location it also also bungalow accommodation, where I am staying... is extremely bady managed and maintained - s I have been staying at this location for over a month i.e. close to 5 weeks, and I will possibly stay another month... but, only if the establishment would listen to sound advice about cleanliness - which is a huge concern... as well as maintenance & upkeep and paying the full daily rate of short-term visitors. Also, the logic of primarily the owner and unfortunately manager too... charging a full rate for a person like myself with two small well-behaved older dogs does not justify asking i.e. R20 per animal - which is ludicrously expensive! behind . appointing

Place isn't secure...people were able to break in our tents and steal our stuff... Apparently you camping at your own risk...I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there
