This is the most horrible dry cleaning service i have ever had. First they damaged my jacket without calling me or notifying me or contact me. I tried to call their customer centre so many times to find out what happened to my jacke, but no one was able to anwser me. I tried to text them on the app, someone replied "your white jacket is still in our cleaning centre" without giving any information for the damage or try to notify me. Until I called perhaps the 30th time, I finally recieved a call from them telling there is a manufacturer fault on the tag. They did not offer solution, no apology, not even returning my jacket, nothing at all! I don't think the founder and owner cares about the quality of their service and my clothes. Then they blame on manufacturer giving wrong information on the tag, it is not their first time blaming on manufacturers as I read from the previous reviews they told another client it is caused by manufacturer. I do think this is a serious issue for a business as they dont take responsibility of what they do. My Jacket cost 1900 euros and now it's gone, I do not know where it is and what happened to it. The same jacket that went dry cleaning is my moncler jacket which was returned, but this Yves Salomon jacket wasn't even written as Yves Salomon Jacket but white puffy jacket, I dont know whether it is them trying to avoid me asking them to pay for me later on or trying to be dodge. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I have never had such a terrible consumer experience in my life. They completely destroyed my wedding veil beyond repair and I am absolutely devastated you can see from the photos what it looked like originally and the state they returned it to me in. When I raised this with them, they asked to collect it again to see if it could be fixed. I then had to chase them up every day for an update and finally they sent me a photo and it looked even worse than before. I then had to continue chasing them up to find out when they would be returning the veil to me and they said on Wednesday morning they would. I then took the morning off work and nothing arrived. When I contacted the team to let them know they said someone had tried to deliver it twice - I was at home the whole time and no-one rang the doorbell so either they tried to deliver it to the wrong address or were lying. I have been going back and forth with this company for months trying to resolve the situation and sadly I feel like they really do not care about the service they provide or their customers. I would advise everyone to AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. They have ruined something that was incredibly sentimental to me that I was hoping to one day pass on to my children. I wish I could go back in time and not use this company.
I simply can’t recommend ihateironing highly enough. I recently used them for my wedding dress and experienced absolutely phenomenal customer service throughout the entire process. Everything was managed superbly. The guy who collected my dress and the guy who delivered it back in a beautifully presented box were both friendly and animated. I’d put it in a bag of my own for collection but appreciated that they insisted on providing a company bag to take it away in. All hugely efficient and collection and delivery were within the promised times. My wedding dress is now in a beautiful box ready for safe storage. Would definitely recommend.
AVOID USING THIS COMPANY! I chose them for a cleaning of my wedding dress and not only it was returned as dirty as before but also they ruined the bra cups. I claimed a refund and they just offered me picking it up again to assess the damage. Do you really think I'm going to leave my wedding dress again in your hands bunch of impostors? We ordered IHI services in London in September. Everything was dry cleaned as requested, and returned in the perfect condition. We ordered IHI services again in Edinburgh in January. In the order, I have specifically requested to dry clean all the clothing and wash & press only bedding. On the 4th of January, I received a note from IHI that there's a risk associated with white hoodies. Since I knew I requested dry cleaning, and hoodies were cleaned perfectly last time in London, I gave a green light. On the 6th of January, despite my request to dry clean my clothing, I received an invoice which stated that my clothing was 'Washed & Pressed'. This is the service I eventually paid for, although I requested Dry Cleaning. I have immediately raised my concern with the team, and received a response that the invoice may be wrong, and items will be treated with all proper care and at the highest standard. On the same day, I received an email that my items will be delayed, which listed items that were not mine i.e. gown dress and bath mat. On Monday, I received my items back, and it became obvious they were just put in a washing machine. They changed their shape, became longer. Two hoodies were essentially destroyed - white soft hoodies became grey, worn out, with big black stains, stains of grey water, with dirt where there was no dirt before i.e. on the hood. They changed their shape. It is not clear to me how the team decided to return them at all in this condition with no apologies and no note. I sent a complaint in the morning to get a refund. It's 4:30 pm and no response. I called them, and the support manager told that I will need to send items I am not satisfied with back, so they try to 'fix' them, and if no luck = they see there's nothing they can do, they will consider making a reimbursement. According to IHI, the whole process will take 7 days or so. This is a sad, sad experience. UPD: 24 hours, no response. Received a comment here that IHI are in touch with me. This is my first time using this service. I booked early morning, and they picked up my clothes in the afternoon, dry cleaned my suit and three shirts and returned the next day, all within the agreed-upon times. I will be using this service again and would highly recommend it.
Before knowing this company my wife was always complaining about the quality of services provided by local laundry shops, but after switching to this shop she seldom complains. The service has been even improved and we can say this company is the best laundry shop in London. The collection and delivery are made in one hour slots each, which is very convenient for us. I have used ihateironing many times and am always impressed by their reliability and punctuality. 24 hours turnover is really something, and sheets and pillowcases come back wrapped in tissue paper rather than polythene. Totally recommend!Services: Laundry wash & fold
