Even though I was not a client, I Googled Marshall Security to both ensure myself and that of my friend 180kms away from me in Durban. MARSHALL SECURITY practically drove with me for 3 hours from Drakensberg to Durban. AND when I arrived in Durban where I haven't visited in many years, so nothing looked the same. When I was nearing my destination, Marshall security stayed on the line with me and literally guided me "home" with road namesnd GPS coordinates. I was already so impressed with their service, I didn't think they could do better. But Marshall Security came back with even more than i could have asked for. They sent a guard to the complex just to ensure, one more time that myself and friend were safe. MARSHALL SECURITY DESERVES 100! As a woman that frequently travels alone, I have never felt safer...and I am not even a client yet! Above and beyond, I am so grateful and forever will let people know that if you want to feel same in Durban, you don't need an app, you just need to make one phone call to Marshall Security.
I had a break in on the 13th of Feb 2023 at 4am. When Marshall called me I said they are in the yard. They didn't stay on the phone with me, just cut the call. However by the time they gor here, the guys were gone. The guys forced my gate open, they broke it. My taps , pipes, valuables from the back of my yard guest house was taken. I opened a saps case and the police even came through during the week investigated and seen the damages themselves and reported it. My husband called Marshall for a report. They told him on the phone that their report states there was no forced entry and nothing was taken but they will send the report. They did not send the report to him. Then I call this morning with a complaint that how could they tell my husband that they would have been reporting no damages, forced entry and nothing stolen and I also asked them for the report. They sent me a report for the 6th of March of another business property and not my home..incorrect date and property, I call them back furious asking for the correct report and they send me the same thing again. I have proof on my email. I even sent a supervisor the watsapp on the day of the break in. I am absolutely horrified at how incompetent you guys are.
Neighbours alarm went off around 6:30pm until loadshedding from 8pm to 10pm. The alarm started again until neighbour arrived just before 11pm. With guards coming in twice there was no solution. Poor handling of the situation.
During my coffee run at Blue Lagoon Engen this morning, I met a polite and friendly Marshal Security agent. I did not get his name. Well done Marshall Security having this gent. Note, I am not with Marshall, so this not a company review.
The best security in Durban according to me. I am a regular visitor to Durban and they are vigilant day and night. I stay at different guesthouses and Monday evening was the first time I called them. Not only did the lady operator answer the phone quick, but was very pleasant on the phone. It was a few minutes before I saw them outside. If they had branches in Johannesburg, I would definitely make use of their service.
Looking for my car that my daughter with her toddler was driving and could not contact them her phone was off .they helped me without me being a client .excellent service
Useless security company when it comes to manning buildings in Umhlanga Ridge. The guards are always on their phones instead of monitoring noise and disturbances in residential blocks. They should stick to armed response
So helpful to find me an ambulance to help my frail dad who had fallen in the middle of the night. Thank you Marshall for going the extra mile!

Security guards are professional and well mannered. Technical team can do with a more hands on approach.
