Very displeased with this place. When a person in your family dies and you have to go to a funeral home, the least you expect is respect, compassion, and understanding. The person who helped us, Ananda, was incredibly rude. She was constantly on the phone in front of us while we sat with her at the desk and even said to the person on the phone "Oh, this shouldn't be much longer," making us feel like we had to rush it and that us being there was getting in the way of things. In all, completely rushed... that is, until it came to the bill! Ananda rudely called me up on my phone asking where's the money, despite the fact that she and I had already discussed that I was waiting for the funeral benefit to pay out. And, Ananda, because I know you're reading this, I would like to tell you the following: I work in health care and deal with heartbroken families--and even death--myself. You of all people should take the two seconds necessary to reflect upon yourself and the manner in which you provide your care. It may be just another day for you, but for those who you see, it is one of the worst--if not the worst--times of their lives. The absolute last thing they should have to worry about is you being rushed, impatient, rude, and money-hungry, mere hours after they lost a loved one. This funeral home, and I don't just mean you, Ananda, is a disgrace to the entire funeral industry, which is already the absolute scum of the earth. I hope this review helps people make an informed decision before using ANY of the Martins Funeral services.

I just wanted to thank Ananda and her team, for everything that they did for my husband's funeral. You handled everything so professionally and with such empathy and grace. I know that you see death everyday but the way u dealt with us was like u felt our pain. My husband was a man of excellence and would have appreciated the manner in which you sent him off.
