Travelled for work and it was not a good experience. 1 person managing the reception then we got to the rooms and I immediately wanted to check out. No plugs next to the bed, rusted bathroom handles, mould on corners of tub shower.. If that wasn't enough, plugs not all working and to top it off water was leaking and the whole floor was wet after my shower. Bad bad experience! My colleague then reported his disappointment as well for a different room, that's when we decided to check out and cancel our booking for the remaining days. Location is great. Rooms: Rooms are below standard for a 4 star Hotel
Had a great stay at the Protea-Gabarone. Rooms were nice. Service was friendly and always helpful. Situated in the heart of Gabarone it is walking distance to The Fields mall, a couple blocks away, and some decent shopping, restaurants very close. Morning breakfast was always good with made-to-order omelettes and hot food. Thank you!
The hotel is very neat and beautiful. The stuff is super friendly- from the reception to the restaurant and room services. The pool is exquisite and you get to see the beautiful views of Gaborone. I want to thank Stephen for giving us the best service for our delicious breakfast every morning.Rooms: 5/5
Exc3llwnt Country, very high class and ip market. Massa square is a nice cosy place you can be at any time. The Protea is very beautiful, great room, great service and great food. Like the Roof bar and pool. Rooms: Great rooms
I would like to raise a complaint regarding the service I received from Protea. The European co-owner was rude,insensitive and did not care about customers allergic reaction, neither were our needs and wants satisfied let alone heard. I am honestly disappointed at how we as customers are treated.
The service is top notch, especially in the restaurant. We lived the gin bar and the beautiful pool area. Lovely, clean, comfortable roomsRooms: 5/5
The staff was great but he co owner was very incentive and did not care if their staff was wrong..... or if the customer had an allergic reaction... do not recommend especially If European looking co owner is thereRooms: 4/5
They are ok, I went there for a conference meeting and it wasn't bad. They have really fast internet. The fastest i have ever experienced in BW, i think Nearby activities: Cinema Multiple restaurants ATMs Conference rooms
The room was clean and all the staff I encountered were friendly. Maybe because my room was right in front of the parking tower, it was noisy with the sound of cars until dawn. It was generally satisfactory, except for the soundproofing problem.Rooms: 4/5
I attended a medical program. So I didn't really use their rooms or check out what they have. But the little I was impressed by the little I saw and the serviceService: 5/5
