Within an hour drive to wildlife lodge. Simple accommodation and can facilitate for family more than 12 people.
I give this lodge a five star. This is a beautiful wedding venue with a beautiful chapel and reception area. There are rooms available. We slept in one of the guest houses situated on the mountain with a view as far as the eye can see. The only down side is the gravel road. And the road to the mountain houses were bit rough and not quite suitable for normal cars. The management is very helpful and friendly. Always willing to lend a hand. Overall a nice place.
The owner Martin went out of his way to cater to our group of ladies that stayed for the weekend. The food was incredible and the decor better than I could have ever imagined. We hosted our second annual ladies event here and would definitely be considering it again for next year. The conference facilities, staff, game drive, decor, rooms and food - just wonderful!! And great value for money.
This is a great lodge with great views and close up view of the animals. However the pool was dirty, no cleaning services offered. We had to ask for them to bring us cleaning supplies as we were staying there for 3 nights. But we definitely made the most of what we had!
Spent one night only sadly at a little piece of paradise only 90km from Randburg. From first contact with Martin te Groen on the phone to an unbelievably warm welcome from Ria - we just knew that as a guest you are important. Beautiful well maintained ground and setting with a lovely dam - a birder's paradise as well as for the more energetic to be able to hike among the game species. . Very comfortable guest rooms - white linen - bar fridge - microwave. Nothing was too much for the staff. Was very spoilt. A friendly Zebra comes and visits you in the morning too. Beautiful big thatched venue for weddings - Ria will assist with and achieve any decor/theme you desire. Worth taking a look brides-to-be. Also a perfect venue for a team building event or a group of friends get away weekend. I didnt see it myself but they have a lovely self catering house further into the reserve with a pool and jacuzzi.. I will definitely be back - with a bigger group next time. Thank you . Thank you.
Great place and had a amazing experience. Basic as it should be for a bush gettaway. That said I still feel wifi is not a nice to have but important for people who sadly have to be connected in a area with basically 0 mobile coverage. The aunty and uncle running the place is super friendly, helpful and understanding. Amazing views. Would definitely recommend it to anyone
Very dry, terrible customer service the pool is so small it's depressing, lots of dry patches on the ground, it's not very well taken care of. The room do make up a bit for this, they are okay and comfortable to sleep in
Beautiful experience, clean abd cozy. Will definitely be back.Rooms: 2/5
Didn't get the place we booked over a year ago but the wedding and food were great
Enjoying the weekend nice accommodation and friendly host. Going on a game drive later.
