After having the same dentist for 36 years, I switched asine retired. I am so greatful for this practice. Excellent service. Honest, humble dentist's and wonderful reception staff! I would recommend them anytime. You feel like they actually care for you. Very empathetic!
I would highly recommend Dr. Mathee when considering a dentist! He is honestly the best dentist I have ever been to! And I have been to quite a few. I had to go to get braces and today I went for my final dentist appointment. My braces are off and My teeth look amazing, thanks to Dr. Mathee! Thank you Dr. Mathee! I can't stop smiling : I will recommend Dr. Mathee to all my friends and family, if they ever need to go to a dentist! He is very professional, kind, explains you through the whole process and previously I was always afraid to go to dentists and was afriad that they would hurt my teeth haha but not so with Dr. Mathee. Dr. Mathee is a wonderful and very professional Dentist. The entire staff is just on point with genuinely caring. From a friendly welcoming upon entry to Dr. Mathee and his hygienists which are extremely gentle and do everything the can to make you feel comfortable. I had always stressed about my dental visits, but not with him. I would highly recommend Dr Johan Mathee as the dentist to visit.
Best dental experience ever! I've always been terrified of going to the dentist until I met Dr Johan Mathee. He is the most gentle and meticulous dentist I've ever had. The moment I met him my nerves were calmed by his kindhearted demeanor and I was no longer afraid to get into the chair. He is new in Somerset West and I would highly recommend him to everyone!
Honesty the best dentist I have ever been to and they have surprisingly reasonable prices. Bianca was absolutely wonderful and Dr Ruan Fourie and his assistant were kind, informative and unbelievably skillful. I will definitely go back to them in the future.

If you are looking for empathy, consideration and understanding then you have come to the right place. My daughter after years of braces, and jaw surgery needed the final step to ensure her smile as the forefront to her daily encounters be the best it can be. Your thoughtfulness, pride in your work and ethics can only be rewarded with congratulations and thankfulness.
Woke up on Sunday in pain with an abscess, called through and was given a prescription for antibiotics and pain killers. Called again on the Monday to book an emergency appointment And was seen that afternoon. In all, Absolutely brilliant professional service and cannot rate all the staff highly enough. Thank you so much, the flight home is going to be a lot more comfortable!!
I just came from my consultation from Dr Mathee. Everyone there is so friendly and he is one of the most professional dentists i have ever been to. He was able to give professional advice and give various options.
The best dentist I have been to. Dr Mathee is gentle and talks you through everything. All the staff are friendly and helpful
