Matumi Fruit And Nuts Nelspruit, Mpumalanga

Had the worst ever experience at this place. Will not recommend at all! Place was super dirty. Sheep kept on the first floor. 5 Dogs also on first floor, I had the room under the 5 dogs, did not close an eye, asked the owner if they can make a plan with the noise they make a plan after being waken 8 times before midnight- he did not and was super rude! Swimming pool full of old plastic containers - could not see the water. Old overfull used containers full of garden refuse against window of my room. Bad moldy smell.

Had such a great experience. The owners treated me like family. If i needed something or needed some help, the staff was eager to please. Even got invited to a family braai. For golfers, the Lodge is on the 9th hole 100m from green. You also get small discount at clubhouse if staying at the Lodge. The course is in great condition and full of fun and challenging holes. I loved it.

Very friendly staff and the owners make you feel at home and go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They went to get us drinks we prefer and borrowed us their golf clubs and golf cart. What a lekker stay!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Matumi and will definitely go back. The husband played a nice round of golf as well. The lodge is comfortable and peaceful and the staff very nice to deal with. Our room was spacious, light and sunny with all comforts expected. On Sunday morning there was a power failure but the staff still managed to produce a lovely breakfast complete with brewed coffee and toast.

A wonderful lodge to stay in. The facility is decorated very nicely. The room has a wonderful charm and elegance to and very clean. there is nice view of the golf course and the veranda is very inviting to sit and rerlax. The staff are very friendly and attentive. I would stay here again

Fantastic B&B. Just a short walk from the clubhouse with great views of Nelspruit. The rooms are excellent. Basically a hotel! The hosts are also phenomenal, full bar and drinks service. The food and catered braai was top class.

This was now my second time staying at this lodge & both times the hospitality & service was excellent. Rooms are spacious & well maintained as well. The fact that it's in a nice quiet & safe area also counts in its favour. I will definitely continue to use them.

I was not impressed at all! Charged a premium price for average facilities and service. Breakfast was not up to standard and we waited about 30 minutes for it. You advertise sound proof walls/windows but we heard EVERYTHING our neighbours said. Shower was leaking and very low water pressure. I will not recommed Matumi Golf Lodge to anybody if this is the service they can expect. 5 star?? Im sorry but I dont buy it.

I want to thank everyone at the lodge for making my stay so wonderful. All the staff and management went above and beyond .Even got to meet the lovely owner.Only thing I didn't love was having to leave.I wish I had more time to enjoy the pool , and the beautiful property.I hope one day to return.I would highly recommend this place. It was safe , clean and so quiet.Thanks to everyone for a truly memorable experience.
