A classic Chinese place in Nottingham's Mansfield road. It's been going since I've been in Nottingham and for good reason. The foods tasty, having all your Chinese favourites, it's cheap and you can bring your own booze there's an off license next door.

Had a takeaway for the 1st time about a week ago from this lovely place, absolutely delicious, and the lad who served me was very chatty and had great customer service, will always come back. Thank you!

Always a lovely dinner and excellent service from Mike and the team at Mayfair. We visit a few times a year for birthdays and celebrations, and it's always a great night out. BYOB is pretty unusual these days and it's really appreciated, as gives our big group of friends the flexibility to bring what they like to drink. The hot & sour soup, the vegetable lettuce wraps and the salt & pepper tofu are all excellent. The ribs are always popular too. Mayfair is a Nottingham institution. Go, you won't be disappointed!

Always a pleasure to eat at this most precious gem of fine Chinese food with the best salt & pepper ribs ever !! Sometimes the basic homely decor hides the true traditional cooked food that shows with passion & taste whenever we visit. Thanks for looking after us all earlier Mike, a fabulous host without complaint. 5* review a must go for anyone desiring good honest well priced Chinese food that's simply out of this world.
