It is famous junk food giant McDonald's. Saw lot of young lads working there. Drive through service operating, so does in store and dining in. On the day of my visit 21/Apr/2022, one out of two ordering stations was out of order. There is onsite parking and a separate allocated parking behind it. Mobile fuel station is close by.
For the price of the food, don't bother; it was really bad. There is plenty of better food in Queenstown given the same price. No wonder it was not crowded even though it was dinner time. Service? Don't talk about the service, it was equally bad as well. The only saving grace it has is the view, but then such a view can be found anywhere in Queenstown.
Trying to get a quick breakfast before going to jet boat. Waited in the drive through for almost 45 mins. I've never had to wait so long for McDonald's. I wish I read the reviews first.... Do not go here unless you want to waste time. Also found a hair on my bacon and egg mcmuffin.
Popped through the drive through as we didn't feel like cooking. They were absolutely packed on a bank holiday but still managed to get us fed in a timely manor. Well done them!
If you have to go to Maccas this one is quite clean and facilities are comfortable. Food is another story. Parking: Limited parking which convolutes with drive-thru
The food quality is fine to good but the service is slow and uninviting. I've never waited less than 10 minutes here for a meal. Average wait time is 10 - 30 odd minutes yes I've waited over 30 minutes in drive thru before. Some staff members seem unfriendly.Food: 4/5
Disappointed. As a local who was there for the opening of this store, I've seen the Frankton McDonalds degrade year on year. Now, totally devoid of energy and personality. Food dry and seemed it was put together with no real care. The place needs a deep clean. Toilets unusable. Tables sticky. I love Queenstown but we need to do better.
By the looks of reviews, I made the worst decision to come here and what do you know. They came through as the worst McDs ever. Don't do it. Even if you have cravings for this, they won't get your order right and you will wait a very long time for fast food. Do yourself the favour and go across the road to BK. Easy.
The woman serving me Chai was blunt when I asked for sugar- said it was already sweet and if I wanted it added, could have done that with their electronic panel ordering never used it before. The BLT burger came with a stale bagel, two small pieces of bacon, hardly any lettuce and tomato? What can I say, there was more bagel than content. The hash brown was soggy like it hadn’t been cooked enough. I have never put in a review for Maccas as they are generally passable and I generally don’t touch their food so but this one is a fail, except for the exquisite view!
I McDonald’s is supposed to be fast food, I was here yesterday to dine in as I happened to be late leaving the airport and was the first food place I came across. I ordered at the machine and got my ticket number 125 . I then sat down and waited and waited and waited. There was an order for 135 on the board and counter sitting there for ages turned out to be mine it had somehow been marked wrong but they figured it out and gave me my cold maccas to eat. I know normally what to expect if you have to eat maccas but this was poor really poor service they could of at least gave me a new warm meal!
