Hospital undergoing huge face-lifts and upgrades. Completed works looks awesome. Reception areas very welcoming and as clean as a new pin.
I really had an amazing experience at Medforum, from the Receptionist ladies who assisted me so quick and explained everything so well to me. Straight to the Nurses in Gynecologist ward G, they were amazing. Everyone was warm and welcoming, so helpful and always ready to assist. I was really taken care of and i would like to thank everyone who was part of my admission and stay at the hospital. I really do hope the treatment doesn’t stop with me, i wish for other ladies to experience the care i got to experience. Keep it up Medforum team.
It’s true when they say if your Dr is not a resident Dr you will get a bad service and not be prioritized. I arrived mid day with pain and I am expecting IVF twins. I was hungry the hole day, no Dr saw me, the drip I received was incorrect which spiked my suger to 8.5, the food I’m getting is not for a diabetic patient. The ward is empty but I was offered the smallest room. I was warned that this is the type of service I will receive by my Dr now I can see what he was talking about.
I am shocked by the service I have received from the staff and the The Dr. I had received good treatment in casualty.. the stuff in the ward.. specifically ward G. The staff there is terrible. The Dr had discharged me I then started having pains and feeling on the day of discharge. The sister I can’t remember the name but the surname was Mantse. She said she called the Dr and the Dr told her he wasn’t available and that I should go home. So basically I am leaving the same way I came in. I even made another appointment with my GP on the day of discharge. What a shocking experience. The standard has really dropped. The staff does not care about their patients at all.
I had an amazing experience with the Nurses that were assigned to me after delivery. I had a C-Section on the 3rd of October and the Senior Professional Nurse Matsoso she made sure that I had a great time she was assisting me from Monday till Friday on my discharged day...I really enjoyed my stay...big up to Nurse Matsoso and Medforum service
I gave birth on the 2nd of Dec 2nd pregnancy and my experience was exceptional. The maternity ward staff were amazing and I would like to thank Sr. Stuurman in particular. My labour & delivery were not as smooth as I would've loved but she was very kind and patient with me from the moment I was admitted. Also, extending my gratitude to Sr. Matsoso for her assistance during delivery. And to my ob-gynae; Dr. Mangena, thank you very much for overseeing my pregnancy.
Had the worst experience with this hospital. I went to the Er early hours of the morning the dr was so unpleasant and lacked bedside manners. Didn't examine me properly. Put me on pain killers gave me a prescription and sent me home. A day later i was still in intense pain and went to my gp and found out I had to go for an operation the next day, because it was something more serious. When I complained to the hospital I was ignored for almost 2 months I had to message them to give me feedback on the investigation. They gave me some lousy response but have been bugging me for payment. When they didn't even finish the investigation.
Thank you so much to the most amazing PICU team that practically saved my daughter’s life . Thank you for : * Loving my daughter and taking care of her during her longest stay * Explaining the tubes , wires , beeps and the machines, countless times even though you could see clearly that we had zero medical knowledge. * You went out of your way to get her the help she needed at all times * Working tirelessly to get her to be comfortable and stable . * Gave us kindness and warmth when all we could feel was pain. * Reassured me several times and brought me tissue when I no longer could hold back the tears. * The positive stories . Small talk. Compassion . Everything!! My most precious baby now has a life and future because of you. Know that we will never think of our child’s life without thinking of you.
To the team at PICU , thank you so much - Sister Alice, Sister Nomusa , Sister Joyce, Sister Grace, Sister Pauline , Sister Nancy y’all are amazing- thank you so much for caring for my little guy. Your work is remarkable!
I was first in the hospital 2021 early may for uterus evacuation and the treatment was very good and staff well trained . 2022 March i was again hospitalized and gave birth with c section and I must say that again the experience was double the previous stay. Doctor's greeting introducing themselves to you same as the the nurses and incase of emergency they respond quick You get to be treated as if they only taking care of you alone not forgetting the canteen and cleaning staff friendly and helpful.
