For some reason I always seem to owe this place money, despite using my medical aid & asking the front desk on my way out, "Do I owe you anything?, is my account settled?" Response is always, no everything is fine, medical aid covered it. Then without fail, comes the shakedown months later... I just got an SMS saying I have an outstanding balance... So I try to call them several times to find out for what...? No surprise... No answer...
1 Star, Horrible experience, on 3 separate occasions payment was handed to a debt recovery team with no contact to myself or mum. 1. I had this experience, 2 For mum, they did not check what medical had paid and quoted full amount due 3 they did not submit to medical aid and sent my mum a bill 3 months later You may get great service from the doctors, but their Accounts department is what you find after USELESS!!!
Dr telling me it’s either flu / swine flu or / Covid will try treat you for everything not even 5minutes I’m out with a generic script week later my symptoms are worse - no care no proper diagnosis - I will never go close to a medicross ever again
Bad experience with Dr Tunzi. Did not examine me or even ask the specific questions. He just sat in front of his computer and typed the script which took about minutes. We were in silence most of time which was very uncomfortable. He didn't even understand the script. The script was done with the wrong dose that the pharmacist rectified. Shocking that he is a doctor. Giving this place 2 stars as the receptionist was pleasant.
I don’t know where to start, but the service I received in this institution was horrible. The management at this institution is neglecting the basics that will eventually turn customer’s away. I wonder if the management does have time to go through the reviews on this app because, It's important for businesses to prioritize customer satisfaction and address any concerns that are raised to maintain a positive reputation and ensure that good business is maintained.
Had my appointment with Dr. Hlongwa. Arrived at reception and the reception says the doctor is not in. They had enough time to call in the morning to cancel, however this was not done. Further more the reception was extremely rude. They do not even deserve 1 Star.
I keep having issues Appointments booked online for an in person visit, automatically become a phone call instead without notifying you. I ended up sitting in my car at the Drs office taking my consultation call, because I wasn't allowed in person, even though that is what I booked. Accounts keep messing up. The amount of duplicate invoices being sent AFTER payment was done. And then having to repeatedly call them to get it corrected and/or updated. Repeatedly, because I was assured the first time it wasn't a problem. aaaand then it kept being a problem They also rarely answer the phone. I was sitting on the phone now for 30 minutes, because no one was picking up and the call kept ending automatically after 3 minutes. There is also no alternative number to call, so you are stuck trying to get through. I shouldn't have to waste my time trying to fix THEIR mistakes. I have also repeatedly needed to ask for my script after a consultation and repeatedly needed to ask Jessica Lichi to send it directly to the pharmacy schedule 5 meds needs script direct from Dr. office in order to be dispensed. After complaining multiple times, it was finally sent 1.5 weeks later. Dr. Nozic is also very dismissive of your symptoms and barely lets you speak before coming to a "conclusion" and sending you on your way. Dr. Mayekiso also pushed most of my dermatological procedure onto one of the nurse staff and it is apparently a habit of hers to do so The problems keep piling up and management seriously need to address these issues p.s the nurses at the sister station are great Update: after giving the practice one more chance, I have once again been shown that this practice needs to be closed. Dr. N Hansraj is absolutely heartless and has no compassion or kindness for her patients when they are at their most vulnerable. The term "monster" comes to mind. 100% done with this terrible practice.
I went for a dental extraction with Dr Makhubo, what a star! She tried to make me relax and was very patient with me. For the first time after having extractions twice before, I did not feel any pain. I will definitely be going back to her for any dental requirements
Worst experience and pathetic accounts department. If I could give 0 stars I would. Went to the dentist last year in November, they ensured me my medical aid is covering everything. Before I left, I asked them to double check as I know how these things go. They said their systems are offline but they are sure I don't have to pay anything. In April half a year later, I get a call from Vericred that my account has been handed over. They did NOT notify me I have an outstanding balance, my medical aid was not notified and I received zero communication from them that they are handing over my account. So I paid Vericred after checking the information and verifying that it is not a scam. 3 months later, I get the statement from Medicross that I still owe money. I call the accounts department and they say that it is a mistake from their side, my account was handed over and their systems are behind so it just will take a while to reflect on their side. A month later, I get a message again saying I owe them money. AGAIN, I call and they promise to call me back with a solution. I've called twice since to follow up, no answer. Last week I received a statement again. Called AGAIN, they promised to correct it and today I received another statement that is still the EXACT same. Please correct this. This is unacceptable and you are ruining my credit record with your terrible communication and useless systems.
The quality of service can be felt from the Doctors visit to the long wait at Clicks.
