We offer a professionally trained staff; the majority have atleast 10 years experience, small group sizes, enrinchment trips in privately owned buses, age appropriate computer learning centers for all classrooms, curriculums which utilize the most current findings in educational research.

At Mel international, our staff practices an individualized appropriate approach to early child education. Licensing guidelines are set forth by the Gauteng department of health and environment.
At MEL international school, we believe that every child has the ability to develop intellectually, socially, emotionally, spiritually an physically. Offering developmentally appropriate activities encourages this natural progression.
The goal of MEL international school is to provide an atmosphere in which your child can experience independence appropriate to his/her age, develop social skills, and form a positive self image. We want your child to be able to experiment and create, to feel comfortable in and curious about his/her environment, to develop language skills and to understand concepts of all kinds.
As part of the community, each child must develop social skills. Cooperation is encouraged, while the need for independence is also acknowledged. Children are helped to express emotions in an acceptable way, and to express their own needs while becoming aware of the needs of others. Every child is guided toward self-discipline. Inappropriate behavior is corrected gently, but firmly, to help the child assume control of his/her actions. The teachers treat all children with respect and affection; students are encouraged to treat one another in the same manner.
