Super friendly staff and they clean all the cars super nicely before customers get it. What I would’ve liked is for the company to have cleaned the car a bit earlier as I waited for 15min extra. But overall fantastic customer service.
I never use Avis again I got my rental car with dirty seats I wonder if they cleaned up or not after the previous rental… and the deposit…it’s crazy expensive. Plus, now this company is charging toll fee even I didn’t use!! I emailed them but it seems like there’s no solutions unless I pay that toll fee I didn’t use… Very funny company.
My husband and I rented a car for one month upon our move to Pretoria. We rented it from July 22-Aug 19, 2022. It was a a new white Audi Q2 that had never been rented; we were the first. When we were given the keys, the rep said that they hadn’t filled the gas rank up yet and that we could either wait until they took it to do that, or we could take it with half a tank of gas and just return it that way. He said that he’d note it on the paperwork. We agreed to just take it on half a tank. Upon returning, the rep we believe it was the same person claimed it had a full tank when we took it and forced us to pay $40 in gas charges that we never should have had to pay. Either he lied when giving us the car or he lied when taking it back. Either way, we will never be using Avis again. Yes, we should have insisted that he give us new paperwork right then and there instead of trusting what he said. That’s our mistake, but that doesn’t excuse Avis from lying and stealing money from customers.You have other options in Pretoria to car rentals. We recommend that you use one!
They try harder to make your life miserable with a can’t do attitude. It’s like the post office. Poor staff attitude and rule changes when they feel like it. Just cancelled my preferred plus profile waste of time getting that over the years and will never return. There are many car rental options. Bye Avis. Keep trying
The rental car was not cleaned, we even found an used pregnancy test in the glove compartment. The attendant did not perform a pre-inspection of the vehicle.
Walked in at Avis/Budget car rental in Menlyn. While waiting there were a altercation between a client and a young assistant. This assistant was very rude, totally out of line and unprofessional. My turn came up the price given to me for the smallets manual car was three times higher than other companies. I ask why and got the same unprofessional rude feed back. I left. NEVER MAKE USE OF THIS COMPANY.

Come here if you want to be scammed, be very careful when giving them your credit card information, rather pay online and create a virtual card that you can dispose of afterwards if you must deal with them.
I don't think They believe that customers pay their salaries, service is not that good.
The best car rental service I've met yet. The whole compliment of workers are dedicated to what they do. From the Securities manning the gate and the reception staff. Love the work ethic
