Very Poor and terrible experience. I will highly NOT recommend this vet EVER!!! Even got threatened with lawyers letters due to my honest experience and review.
Worst experience of my entire life! Went in for a precautionary check up and came out with 50 more unnecessary problems. The vet did not even bother to call and check how the dog was doing after he was sent home with 2 open wounds and didn't care to explain what we needed to look out for while caring for him either. I'm extremely upset for all the stress my dog was put through unnecessarily. No compassion whatsoever, definitely not going back there again
Both my babies have always gone to Mercury Street. The Vet's are friendly and compassionate but they are firm if needed. When the time came for my little boy to go to doggy heaven, they were so kind to him and to me. I have on numerous occasions phoned after hours and they have met me at the practice to assist every time . Yes, there is a surcharge for after hour consultations, just like there is a emergency room fee. They are very thorough and always give sound advice.
Asked them to specifically check my dogs CCL. Got the green light that everything was all good because the area felt ok and that it was probably just a bad sprain. Got charged for the sedation, hospitalization and "diagnosis" of my dog. After a couple of weeks with no improvement I decided to go to a different clinic where they actually made multiple x-rays and ran other tests to examine the area that confirmed my original concern of a torn CCL. No accountability. No money back guarantee. I wonder how great life would be if all businesses worked this way...
The vet is rude and condescending. They are only concerned with making money. My dog has a chronic condition and after managing it successfully for four years, this vet wants to lecture me on the correct care for my dog and how I should really be spending thousands on his care every single month. We will not be coming back.
If you love your pets do not ever use these vets. I regret approaching them in my dogs last moments. The last words shouted while my dog was still alive, was the deposit I needed to pay for them to continue. They then disappeared with him. I was later told over the phone, that I'm busy wasting my time and money. It was as if our emergency was very, very inconvenient to them. They had more important things to focus on, than this 12 year old customer of theirs that was busy dying in front of their eyes. Make sure the vet you use for your pets actually WANT to take care of animals, because you and your pet deserve much better in the last minutes of their lives.
