Mi Kinder Educational Center incorporates Spanish and English languages,
which enriches a young learner's cognitive and cultural development. We Provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment that aids children in learning new languages and becoming global citizens. Our school allows our children to become explorers and to discover the world. As teachers at Mi Kinder we guide and give our children the correct tools to grow, by becoming more confident and independent by allowing the children to experience and express themselves to their full potential.
We are conveniently located in a quiet suburb on safe and secure street. Our premises are set on beautiful surroundings and our school is very equipped and has been adapted for our "little people" boasting a large outdoor play area and a covered terrace should it rain.

Curriculum
Mi Kinder school follows the Early Learning Standards from the DC USA. The primary purpose of the Early Learning Standards is to ensure that the children have different kinds of rich and robust early experiences. What makes us unique? The fact that we are a bilingual language preschool and we incorporate Spanish in our daily curriculum. By doing so, we are preparing your child to become a confident global citizen in giving them a big stepping stone to be a success in school and for lifelong learning.
Spanish
Mi Kinder Educational Center provides a Spanish program for children from as early as 4 months old, introducing baby sign language as the first step. The Spanish environment surrounding our activities enables your child to learn Spanish at the same time as practicing early childhood educational concepts. The curriculum also incorporates fun group activities to reinforce Spanish language in role play song, movement and games.
Sign Language
Mi Kinder uses Einstein Hands. This is a program that we use to teach sign language to our kids through music, role play, flash cards and videos. Research studies show that "signing" with babies accelerates language acquisition, reduces frustration and aggressive behavior, and as children mature this results in a greater interest in reading.

Mi Kinder Educational Centre will provide students with the necessary tools to help achieve their full potential. Our learning program aims to encourage each child to function optimally, at different times, and in different ways. Children will have a safe, nurturing and positive learning environment in which they can solve problems and express their feelings through words, art and other creative areas.
