CLASSES for CHILDREN AND ADULTS
Our studio is a happy space, where working with clay is a satisfying and therapeutic process.
For children of 6 and older, the afternoon classes are magical. We have fun learning the basics in our own time. Pinch pots are made first, followed by coiling and slab work. Children have exciting and interesting ideas, and our creations are always loved. We break for juice during and a jump on the trampoline during the two hour session.
For adults and those of us somewhere in between the alchemy of clay is as exciting as it is for children. A similar beginner’s programme is recommended in the morning and evening sessions, with individually paced progression to more advanced techniques of complex forms and throwing. The end result, your decorated and fired ceramic creation, is taken home with pride.
