Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Center

The founder Mr Brian Jones have kept the admission rates very reasonable to share some sad and happy stories of these beautiful animals & birds. The up close encounters will have a lasting impression and kids education ranks high on the establishment mission. The money goes for a great cause and worth every cent, myself returning numerous times. Also check out some fantastic accommodation offer by Moholoholo in close vacinity.

What a great experience for wildlife students and folks who just love wildlife. It was a wonderful opportunity to help those who are there for abandoned, injured and animal who just need a good home. But definitely recommend to everyone!

Our trip to Moholoholo wouldn't have been complete if we didn't have Oscar as our guide. Unfortunately he is moving on to greener pastures but, very informative. He even gave the names of the raptors in German and French for a couple. He manage to show us the infamous 'Stoffel' the badger. That guy has some cahonies man, took on a lion on three occasions and lived to tell the tail. Check out his you tube videos. Back to the center though,these guys really help with animals in need and they do a great job. Animals that might have been poisoned, electrocuted, road incidents. If the animal can be saved and reintroduced to the wild, then there is zero interaction with the outside world humans . The only animals that you can see will Unfortunately never be reintroduced back in to the wild for multiple reasons. Great place to visit

Cant speak good enough about this place!!! They are so informative, all the staff are friendly and care deeply for the animals. I visit them yearly and never get bored What Brian Jones created here is legendary!

We were not aloud to feed the vultures like in the past. But all and all still a GREAT place to visit, and must if u have kids.

A real eye opener to what we as humans are doing. The people here are doing really great things to rehabilitate those that have been harmed. You really will learn alot on the tour. Keep it up guys.

Incredible Host Oscar if I'm not mistaken, I learnt a lot about rehabilitation of wild animals, got to see my favourite animal leopard and gained more knowledge of animals. I highly recommend this, especially if you're tired of game drives.

What an experience! We didn't have time to take the tour which is about 2 hours long, so just ended up walking through the museum, which is truly only of it's kind! Extremely well done, but it focusses on the stories of animals that have had to be rescued due to "abuse" from humans, so some of the stories are quite horrific, but it's a good eye-opener. One of the staff said they shock you with the museum and then lift your spirits with the tour of the animals being rehabilitated, so I would recommend making time to take the tour as well.
