Molopo Kalahari Lodge

We were traveling with a newborn and a toddler and the staff went out of their way to help us in every way. We normally camp pre babies but now stayed in one of the chalets and were very happy with the accommodation. The fact there is a restaurant on site is also nice since it makes travelling with a family a lot easier. And definitely make use of the pool. It has a children shallow section as well.

Excellent place to stay. Very friendly service. Very good food for dinner, excellently prepared. Great buffet breakfast. The only drawback was no Wifi in the rooms, but they are working on it. Absolutely to be recommended.Rooms: 5/5

Food & drinks: The meals and drinks are tops! They just need to improve on breakfast,if you book for a week,you will have the same meal everyday. Noteworthy details: -Buy enough water. -Buy sunscreen the area is very Hot. -Have your own Torch incase of Loadshedding. -Lots of Mosquitoes. -Bring your own Twin plug adaptor

The perfect get-away place, especially if you seek some peace and quiet. It also allows you to connect with nature and is not far fro Kgalagadi transfrontier park.

Great Kalahari get away for new travellers. Very peaceful with good facilities.

We recently stayed in the villa at Molopo lodge. What can i say? The perfect place if you'd like something private! Beautiful, well furnished, clean and comfortable.

The only reason for giving it a 3 rating is because the mistake they made should never have happened. I need to say that they did go over and beyond to compensate for the fact that they had doubled booked us. They charged us 50%, gave us a free dinner and threw in a sundowner. The rooms they gave us were comfortable. But they need to work on their service. We had booked in Feb already and they only let us know the day before we arrived, towards the end of March, that there was a double booking. When it came to the dinner and breakfast, there was always confusion as to what we ordered and what almost arrived. Even the sundowner order they got wrong. I asked for a Coke Zero and got a mocktail. So for location and comfort, I would give them a 4. But for service, giving them a 3 is being generous.

Friendly hosts and very comfortable. We had both villas which were well furnished and kids enjoyed the space. Breakfast was a bonus. Toilet roll holders recommend for the bathroom.Rooms: 5/5

A beautiful and neat lodge where Uschi and Dricus were very welcoming and very helpful when we had a problem with our car. Thanks to them we could enjoy the rest of our stay, many thanks! I will not forget the great dinner! We really enjoyed the Kalahari stew and the springbok pie, it was delicious and so tasty! Definitely a great stop!
