Visited More this week after being there about 10 years go the last time. POSITIVES: Daily specials are very well priced and the food we had was tasty with well sized portions. Waitress was very attentive, friendly and accommodating when we moved to the inside due to the rain. NEGATIVES Was really disappointed when I saw what the restaurant looks like on the inside. The cozy ambience was gone. Hardly any furniture inside the restaurant and it seems like the target market has changed - it felt like sitting in very low-class pub. The moment we stepped inside there was a very bad smell of 'sour' dustbins and something smelling like pine gel possibly to try and get rid of the dustbin smell. It was very pertinent so much so that I didn't even smell food - only these 2 very bad odours. I don't think that I would visit More any time soon again. Kid-friendliness: Open air play area Parking: Parking is outside on the pavement with a car guard on duty
This restaurant really surprised me! It looks like a small cafe from the outside but as you walk through it you are met by different beautiful areas of seating. There's formal dining in an old school type hall with beautiful wooden tables. You can also sit under the shady trees and dine while your children play on the jungle gym provided. There's another bar area, a sea sandy area and a lapa. We enjoyed our lunch and two tipo tinto special of R62 for two doubles and 1 mix. The food is also of great quality and the pricing is decent. We had a mushroom starter, a biltong avo salad, bacon feta sandwhich with chips and tipped the waiter more than 10% all for R400 for two people. I absolutely recommend this place where families can come together and share meals. The staff are very friendly and accomodating and well done to the kitchen staff too. They only deliver on fresh quality foods! I need to go back to try the pizza oven next! There is parking on the street around More and a car guard watches your vehicle. It is just off Old Johannesburg road into the Clubview suburb.

Celebrated my birthday, we had such a good time, we received excellent service and the food was great! Kids enjoyed it very much.
Great food and an awesome space for kids to play and enjoy themselves while mom and dad can sit and enjoy a meal! Best snails I have had in a long time! Kid-friendliness: Plenty for kids to do ... difficult to get them away! Parking: Parking is somewhat difficult to get during peak time. However, there is a very friendly car gaurd who takes care of your vehicle while you have a warm meal.
Very rustic. I guess if you are in a crowd it will be more fun. Unfortunately, regarding food,my bacon that comes with the breakfast ordered was cold. Other than that it's not to bad.Food: 4/5
Did a take out pizza order for 6, of which 3 of them were and it was the worst dinner/pizza we have had. The meat on Carnivore was off and the sauce on the base was miff, the Amigo Pizza had a banana taste to it, created a pizza that had bacon, feta and cheese on it and the feta and bacon was off. So so so disappointing and such a waste of money
If I could give a 0 star rating I would. Also I think this is my first 1 star rating ever given to a place!. We've waited about 35min for a waiter to come get our order. During this time we went and ask for a waiter 3 times. Then on a forth attempt to get a waiter we placed our drinks and food order at the till point. Our drinks arrived about 10 min later but that was the last time we saw our waiter. Almost an hour passed and the manager attended to a complaining customer at the table next to us at which point I called him over. We then explain that we where there since half past 7 and we are waiting an hour and a half to be served. He then looked at his watch and corrected us and said 1 hour and 20 min. This is when we got up and left without food. The lady behind us gave my 4yr old a chickenstrip as he was crying because he was hungry. Pathetic service!!!
It was a lovely place for an afternoon , the service wasn't great but the food and the vibe was good ...their pizza is phenomenal... I'd definitely recommend it ...Food: 4/5
