Customer service centre is a joke, eventually walked out after 40mins and went to Cresta MTN to get assistance. Not the first time, wait is always a waste of people precious time.

Honestly I do not recommend MTN to anyone. Ive been trying to end my contract with them for years. Fortunately i paid in full the money they wanted but for no reason it hasn't been allocated to my contract to be closed.
Why should I give a one star???? I Sat from 2,30 pm until 4.15 pm on the 11-5-22 What an appalling setup, The worst experience ever in a business in South Africa, I eventually walked out swearing that I will never support mtn or ever talk good about them ever, Bought R 200 data and 100 airtime on my banking app, that never arrived in my account, but was paid to mtn, Or it was stolen like I hear from friends about airtime disappearing, Well the 2 hour wait is 2 hours too long ! Definitely gonna change my provider, asap Changes to cell C And very happy now 50 giggs for R500 Valid 6 months
Worst customer services. Repeated calls, e-mails and letters for months to terminate a contract which has been honoured in full and they keep charging me subscription fees even after receiving confirmation that the contract is cancelled. When you ask to be put through to the contracts department the line goes dead and when you ask why there are no adequate voice prompts to guide the call waiting time you get told that it is not prepaid department's responsibility. Your company is too big to care about it's clients. Disgracefully poor service!
Can't complain about customer service as there isn't. Sitting in queue for hours on end. Staff get helped before actual customers. PATHETIC.
Long queues and minimally staffed. Staff try their hardest to solve your problem but to be honest their system sucks even when it's online and the staff struggle to help you because of that.
Great helpful service but there are long queues and a long waiting time. They need more staff.
Improve professional treatment towards their customers and potential clients
