Muco is Kirundi (Kinyarwanda) meaning light. This is our inspiration for this wonderful guesthouse, situated in the centre of the northern suburbs. An elite area of Johannesburg, Rivonia.

Came to Gauteng for work. The staff were incredibly warm, kind, and hospitable. Maqhawe walked me through my check-in, ensuring I had all I needed including extra blankets and Kota loadshedding-proof lights and WiFi. He even made sure I could arrange a 4:30am check-out. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for a no-fuss, cosy stay.Rooms: 5/5
Very nice decent place though the service is a bit lacking; for example, they give you tea & sugar but no electric kettle to boil the water, and they give you just a couple of towels and such little things...Rooms: 3/5

Hi. Id like to say that Muco guest house is a fabulous place however today the 22nd of December 2022 im appalled at the service i received from a gentleman who calls himself Isiah and says he is the manager there. Iv gone onlinewhtsapp to make a booking for new years eve into the new year to which i was quoted R600 by him, After confirming the quote repeatedly and agreeing to the amount and days of lodging i continue with making payment. The gentleman turns around and quotes me a different package stating that i had made an insufficient payment. I feel that i have been given misinformation for a sercice and would like to lay a formal complaint for the incompetence. Could someone either then Isiah contact me to resolve this matter
Very clean rooms- actually the cleanest I have stayed at so far in terms of hotels/ guesthouses. Very friendly staff members. The rooms have very expensive furniture, you can tell that the owners invested in the property. Very clean pool. Honestly feels like you are away from JHB at some different nice place when inside. Definitely would recommend

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff at Muko Guesthouse was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make my nephew's stay enjoyable. I highly recommend Muko Guesthouse for anyone visiting the Sandton.
The place is very nice and clean, thanks to Mr Cedric and Isiah for their good hospitality, they are very friendly and helpful, they gave us whatever we asked for, we didn't travel far for nothing, I was satisfied and enjoyed my weekend stay, I'll definitely recommend this guest house to people, it is so affordable and peaceful
Friendly receptionist and communication skills Ubuntu-like. Just the security gateway vis-a'-vis remote control keys pain at back...maybe Loadshedding, I don't know.Rooms: 3/5
