Very big supermarket with lots of choices

Good clean well stocked supermarket. Not many UK products but nice to try something new. For UK shoppers, be aware that it only takes Maestro cards, NOT VISA OR MASTERCARD - so have cash ready. There is a cash machine by the tills, and another two outside. Helpful polite staff who speak English.

I always manage to come here when it's very very very busy... But the staff is friendly and willing to help out when needed! Action is next door...

Large store, good selection of products and a roomy set-up, easy to go through the lanes without coming in close contact with other shoppers.

Although visited only once during the five day stay in Middelburg, AH deserves 5 star rating. I needed advice about the Stroopwafel's packages and the kind, young merchant explained everything to me although I interrupted him in his business. You'll find almost everything you need here :

Great selection of food and other goods! Fresh produce, a bakery and deli isle for fresh meet. The only reason I don't give it a 5 star is because of how the store is layed out. If you forget to get some fruit or vegetables, it's kind of annoying to walk all the way back around from the check out. On a more positive note the lines are never that long.

Small supermarket with your basic needs available. It's actually the only store in Domburg so the prices aren't particularly affordable. No cold drinks for sale unfortunately. Parking is for free. Friendly staff. Fresh bakery on site. Open on Sundays
