This is a phenomenal swim school with expert staff and a strong culture of excellence, safety and respect. My son started at My Swim at around 8 months of age and at age 7 he is still attending lessons there. His confidence and ability in the water astounds me and I’m often asked by parents at parties, “where did he learn to swim like that?” - the only answer I can give is MY SWIM in Northriding. In teaching my son to swim, the teachers there have also helped in developing his co-ordination, strength and posture. We’re also amazed at how the swimming training has helped my son develop a strong and lean physique. At 7 years of age, my son is a way better swimmer than his 45-year old dad. There are swim schools and then there’s MY SWIM - a swim school in a league of it’s own. I live near Cresta and I travel far to get to My Swim Swimming School but the distance and time spent getting there is all worth it considering the outstanding instruction, kindness and physical development my child receives there.
My son has been going to my swim since 9 months of age. Weekly he looks forward to the lesson no matter which teacher he is swimming with as they're all friendly! not only have we made friends with the teachers we have made friends with other moms and dads that join us in classes, it has become a community at My Swim. my son is turning 5 in April and we will continue to go to My Swim. I have a daughter who will also start lessons as soon as we can at My Swim. I thank the teachers, Sharon and Abigale as well as the other teachers and Jo for having such an awesome school. We several swimming schools before MySwim and getting our daughter into a pool was like trying to get a cat into a bath. Since MySwim our daughter has gained full confidence, arrived at Grade 1 fully equipped for the demands of school swimming. She loves the instructors and they all have a super repore with her. Swimming lessons are fun for her and not a task. Always a pleasure to bring her to lessons.
Our little one now 2 has been going since late 2019 and her development ito swimming is amazing to watch! Teacher Sharon is amazing patient with the little ones and makes sure they gain confidence and skills as they progress. I would recommend MySwim Northriding to anyone wanting to feel more comfortable with their little ones around swimming pools!
My little one has been swimming here for 2 years since she was 3yrs and the amount of confidence and progress are amazing. All because of a great Teacher Leanne Muir a great school and great facilities. I highly recommend this swim school.
My two children have been swimming with MySwim since 6 and 7 months old respectively. They are now 3 and 5 years old, and the most amazing confident little swimmers. My 5 year old son can swim an entire length of the pool with the most beautiful crawl stroke on his own. I honestly couldn't be happier with the entire MySwim experience - from administrative efficiency where all communications are timeous and informative, to the wonderful premises with ample secure parking and warm clean pools catering to all ages 'baby" pool so littlies don't get overwhelmed as well as regular training pool. The exceptionally hands on management team who are always there monitoring lessons and assisting where necessary, and who are so accommodating in finding the right instructor-child fit as well as the most suitable time-slot for your schedule. MySwim's secret weapon however, is their instructors. The most incredible people who LOVE kids and are super passionate about what they do, and making swimming fun! Cannot recommend MySwim enough!
MySwim is not just a school teaching our son how to be water safe and swim, they are family who care deeply for his well being. Our teacher Natalie has gone over and above her responsibilities in that she not only taught my son to swim but made sure she focused on areas that helped him from an occupational therapy point of view too. Her dedication, commitment and plain downright caring for my son included sending me emails with exercises we could practice at home. Never have we seen or experienced a school of any nature providing so much more to our son than just the service we pay for. The school is extremely well run with excellent facilities. Administration of any requests are always attended to timeously and the school is always trying their best to accommodate. MySwim - a school focused on delivering personalised measureable excellence whilst still having fun.
Myswim has become so much more than an extra mural to help my kids learn to swim. We really feel part of the family. We have been with Myswim for more than 3 years now and the kids love every lesson with their Teachers. The bonds that they have developed in addition to the skills they have gained is astounding. I am a proud Myswim parent and thankful for the little water babies they have helped nurture. We intend to be with Myswim for years to come as the discipline of swimming has such a fundamental impact on their day to day activities. From the physical aspects to the routine of practicing a skill. Pool time is fun time!
My son Ethan had his assessment and he was very excited about it. The instructor was so calm and sweet and we both enjoyed the assessment. Can't wait for him to start his swimming lessons.
MySwim Team - I don't know where to start with my appreciation. I had a near drown experience when I was 7 years, we were out on a trip with my then school and one of the kids pushed me into the pool. I still remember the all the emotions even to this day. Me making a decision to go for swimming lessons was not an easy one, it took me a while. I would drive to the school and just look at the pool and walk out because all the bad memories would come back. I managed to be brave enough to sign up and go to the first session. It was the best decision I could ever do for myself. I started with Abigail who was very patient with me, when I say I was terrified of the water it is just an understament, she held my hand through many relaps. @Abigail - thank you for everything, the impact you played in my swimming journey it is so huge. @Tersia & Regina, - thank you for your patience with me and I am very proud to say last week Tuesday I was able to properly swim without any assistance from the boards/instructor. Well done my swim team, you are really making great impacts on people's life. I don't want to mention the love my daughter has for you because I will be writting for the whole day. I will be signing up my 1 year old daughter soon. Thank you again. High Five to you.
