Helpful service. Just need a bigger range
It's a small shop, and the level of service correlates with this. On many occasions in the past I've used their website and found out quite quickly that the prices reflected are old prices and there isn't a delivery service even though the site stated that the items will be couriered to me. I've never used their website since those few bad experiences. I suspect that they probably only have one person in their online support "team" via email/facebook because sometimes they don't even respond to you on emails. Their stock orders take a long time to arrive I'd rather fly to china and buy the item myself and get it quicker and continue living my life. The owners need to get more involved in what goes on at the shop. The staff aren't really the friendliest people, they're just going about the motions, they could at least pretend to be happy to see a customer. The face of a company is most crucial because these are the people who are interacting with customers on a day-to-day basis. I doubt that I will use them again, despite them being conveniently located, I'd rather go to Durban.
Staff are miserable and lack knowledge on most of the things they sell.Don't bother calling and asking because they will confirm something then give you the "no stock" excuse when you go in. If you want good quality accessories and aftermarket items,rather go to torque-it in northdale. If you want car audio,go to zaybees in church street.
Purchased a set of wheel hub stickers. The particular vehicle was not with me when I purchased it. I arrived home only to check the size of the stickers were bigger than I required. I went back the next day and they don't have stock of the size I require. However, they were not prepared to give me a credit. Apparently, I had to buy something else. I don't know if this is legal in terms of the Consumer Act.
National Autostyle treats their customers with lots of respect and ever willing to assist. Their prices are really affordable and definitely competitive! The shop environment inside out is awesome! Only thing which is an issue is the parking. Other than that, I'll keep my rating at 5 stars.
There is always a problem for parking, staff are more busy with their personal chit chat than helping and assisting customers. If the staff is not acquainted with what you are looking for then he will simply say "We do not stock the item or we are out of stock". I personally asked for a certain item and I was told they do not stock the item however whist walking in the shop I found the item. The staff is so lazy to look or ask another colleague for assistance. A very well known business in the auto industry but what a shame and unpleasant experience indeed. Please rectify this matter for future customers.
Terrible service. Waited a really long time for service and eventually was told to ask for help behind the counter. Staff were more interested in what was going on outside. This is how they expect to wrangle in business. - and it is a Sunday, the store was literally empty.
The service is excellent. They try to help you to the best of their ability. They have a wide range of products unlike most other shops in pietermaritzburg.
Went there this past weekend. First i was attended to by a lady who didn't know anything about what i asked, the next guy a bit more helpful but clueless about the info i needed. So he asks the two clowns that work there that are busy playing games on the computer for help and they just continue having a chat. I find the service very pathetic. The staff previously employed were much more educated about their job.
Useless online store. I ordered a grill for my Toyota in March from their store. Paid via EFT using their provided reference. Sent proof of payment to their email [email protected] no response. A week later I call in to ask them about my order. They confirm that they have no stock. I wait another week, still no stock. I then requested a refund and was told to send my details to sales@nationalautostyle.... I still haven't received my refund since April of this year. I will not do business with this place and do not recommend their services.
