Newmarket Mall

A very neat shopping place to be with some useful shops that are not found in many other malls. It has tight security and is a very convenient and a safe place for shoppers throughout its operating hours in any season of the year. I love it

Like Checkers Hyper. Go there to shop. Dischem is pleasant & staff friendly. Food Lovers is same. West Pack is too small so I give it a miss. Builders okay if you know what you shopping for. Staff are unhelpful. I go there for the Garden Section.

The Mall at Newmarket shopping centre is situated just outside of Alberton,on the way to Heidelberg.Built on the grounds of the old Newmarket horse racing course,with a horse racing theme in it's various building features.It is a modern,relaxed,outdoor mostly - style shopping centre,with a variety of good retail outlets,including some good coffee shops/restaurants near the entrances to it,with Checkers as an anchor tenant there,with ample safe and secure outdoor parking.Highly recommended,especially for tourists passing through, to go to Johannesburg and surrounds!

Very busy but what can be expected 3 days before Christmas. There was enough parking and midway through our shopping experience loadshedding happened. Within seconds the generator kicked in and shopped could proceed as normal.

I had a great time being at the mall, and the mall is very cute

Unacceptable that the mall doesn't provide electricity via a generator. I live 40km away from Alberton or from any other mall for,that matter, thus traveling far to get what I need. Time is of the essence, and now I have to wait until load shedding is done before the store opens!!

Overall the Mall is good and busy. Though I was treated not good at Standard Bank Branch. Their service is extremely poor especially the customer service guys.

It is has all the essential shop and with a bit of extra ones that will make your visit to the mall an great experience. Checkers, Dischem, Foodlovers Market, Builders and alot of different retuarants. Mr Price sport and home, Decathlon, Volpes, outdoor warehouse. Makro is also close by and they havr a care wash that you can use while going to the shops.

This is a pleasant mall to shop at your basic stores for your everyday essentials. Tones of parking. And my favorite is that it's never crowded, making it convenient to shop peacefully.

Nice place to shop. Capitec ATM was not working... Otherwise it was good. Staff had umbrellas to fetch you and take you to your car as it was raining. Nice touch.
