We were looking for a hookah bar, and we came to know that the News Cafe has Hookah. But we enjoyed the drinks and food along with Hookah. I will definitely vist again to this place. The service and ambience are too good. Food - Great Service - Very Good Ambience - Very Good Price - Reasonable Recommendation: Try Corn strips and Chicken Skewers. Vegetarian options: Haloumi Cheese, Corn Strips, Falafel

My first experience at a News Cafe. 10/10 rating. Had a very tasty reasonable priced breakfast there. The Amercano coffee was delicious. I ordered 2 cups.. Normally I drink a maximum of 1 cup of coffee per dayFood: 5/5

I recently visited Newscafe Rivonia and had a fantastic experience. The food was simply delicious, and the drinks were refreshing. Whether you're craving a hearty meal or a light snack, Newscafe Rivonia has something for everyone. The drinks menu was equally impressive, with a great selection of cocktails, mocktails, and other beverages. I particularly enjoyed their specialty drinks, which were expertly crafted and served with a smile. The bartenders at Newscafe Rivonia definitely know their stuff! One aspect that stood out to me was the music selection. The background music perfectly complemented the vibrant atmosphere of the restaurant. It created a lively and enjoyable ambiance, adding to the overall dining experience. The service at Newscafe Rivonia was excellent. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure that all our needs were met. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided helpful recommendations.

A great vibe! I have never been disappointed. Good for after work chills or even a precursor to a great night ahead! I have had food and drinks only on different occasions. The waiters are polite and cheerful. I highly recommend

Haven't been to newscafe in the longest time. Had a flaming Lamborghini for old times sake. It still packs a punch. The nachos were so gooood. The service was impeccable. We tried the cheeseburger spring rolls, it was just aiiite.

I got a nice seat in the sun on a cold morning. News Cafe has good portions and a nice selection. The only thing I don't like is the really small handle onto the cuppachino cup. I can't get my finger through it. A bit frustrating. For people who like good deals, they have a Wednesday night deal for 2, for R450. 1 bottle of wine with prawns ect. Apparently they have a dj playing there as well. So I suppose it's a great vibe.

I visited News Cafe rivonia on Saturday with my colleagues for a team building celebration.. It was not my 1st/2nd time coming there and we support the business exceptionally by spending over 5k.On most if our visits we are always served by our regular waitress Zanele charasmatic lady with excellent customer service.. The 1st group of my colleagues arrived earlier in order to get settled upon waiting for us2nd group... I had specifically suggested they be helped by Zanele, being our regular waitress.. We ordered the special PARKAGE of V. S COGNAC/VODKA with food platters But instead one of the waiters was sent n a wrong order of drinks was taken...upon our arrival we spotted Zanelewaitress n placed our usual order.. Little did we know that the was a mix up, I then asked to see the Manager!!! But what we witnessed this time around was very displeasing n disgusting!!!!! The manager by the name of Bafana Is so rude, condescending and abrasive. He lacks courtesy and manners and his customer service is shocking. He ignored us n spoke to the waiters as though we were stupid!!!.. When our drinks arrived to the table the food platters wer not There.. My question is what happened to our food platters because we paid for them????? Is that how managers should treat customers? We are not impressed at all and will make it known to our friends, acquaintances and family that Newscafe Rivonia is a no go!!

Been here a few times the food is lovely had very pleasant services from the waitress on wed and thur. Returned again on friday the waitress was so not interested . i ordered the breakfast special and i did pay the 10% tip she clearly thought it was not enough did even get a thank you from her this is just bluntly rude. I asked for tabasco sauce and was told the one that was brought to the table is tabasco but its the local version. I had to insist on asking for TABASCO only then she brought it. Like why ??? You have it but you jst didnt want to go get it ?? Very disappointed.

I didn't have anything to eat but our drinks were good. Friendly service and very lively in the afternoon. Overall a great place. I suggest utilizing the undercover parking.Service: 5/5
