Nex Dor

A filling mix. Looking for a breakfast, try their omelet. After doing the Mofolo parkrun, we ended up here Wandies were closed till 11am and Nexdor was suggested by the manager at Sakhumzi’s. So there we were - only two of us, as Vilakazi Street only gets going much later. It was nevertheless interesting watching the goings on with hawkers unpacking their wares, and our hosts unpacking their umbrellas on the deck. It was fine weather at just Nexdor to Sakhumzi’s. It took a while, but when our omelet arrived, it didn’t have the mix of fillings we asked for but it was nevertheless substantial, well prepared, and at a value price. The waitress did apologise, so accepted the side beacon discounted for the mixup. We left with mixed feelings. Next time, perhaps we’ll try the next door.

A small group of us just went into this resturant for coffee and cheese sandwich take out. The resturant was absolutely empty except for us and the food took 20 minutes to receive coffee and 40 minutes for the food to come out. The waitress was laxicazical and mixed up drink orders that that was all literally, coffee and water and a coke. Then the cheese sandwich comes out with no cheese. I send it back, and it takes ten mins for the chefs to put this garbage on my sandwich. I wish I had waited until the end to pay, they would have gotten none of my money for this nonsense. Do not eat here.

Great place, loved their food, music and they have variety of excellence top notch beverages to choose from. I'll add one star after they've replaced damaged equipment.

Nexdor was phenomenal. Good food, great company. Made a lot of friends as well as business acquaintances. Happy to have been there on a Saturday afternoon

The food is not the best, the service is the absolute worst. My first time was 7 years ago. Went again today and nothing has changed. Absolute worst!!!!

Ordered two platters that took more than 1h30 to be brought to us. Chicken was not well cooked still had blood stains at the bones. The delay was brought to the staff and they always say the food is about to be served. Out of the meat the vors was warm, the ribs and stake was cold. Very dissapointing

Love the venue. Food was nice but their service is bad. They are disorganized. I was there for a birthday but it was as if they were not prepared. Who doesnt know that people love Savanah? Getting a savanna was a problem..

This place was recommended to me by a friend but then i think everyone who handled our order was in a bad mood. We had to to wait -+25 min for a simple order of burgers. I go and ask why our order is taking so long Then this rude waitress tells us the patty and bacon were frozen that's why it took so long. Ok we are almost done with the soda already and i just paid for everything, then she says the money is short with a tip. I don't tip bad service yeses and from those thrashy R115 burgers the egg was half cooked, fine i can work with that, the buns were old..... Left their thrashy burgers with grumpy fries and passed by kwa mai mai.

I had my Babyshower there and I requested that they please allow us to set up at 07h00 as my decor lady had another event to go to which they did and we appreciated that. When we arrived, the roof top was filthy and not cleaned the way I had discussed with the manager Seba when I did the site visit. We had to quickly help the poor old man to move wooden tables and sofas as well as scrape the floor of bird poo. I had sent Seba the balance of the proof of payment prior to the event with a few changes to the drinks but to my surprise, none of the changes were made and nothing was communicated to our waiter Bokang. At the end of the day, our waiter tells one of my guests that I need to make the balance payment before leaving so I had to go downstairs to show him an email I sent to Seba with the proof of payment. A few minutes later, the other manager Sifiso comes up with a slip requests that I make the balance payment. I was very annoyed and had to show him the email again and resend it to this Seba woman. There's no communication whatsoever between management and the staff. Seba needs to pull up her socks. Another annoying thing was the limited beers they had. I think they only had castle lite and hieneken. Your restaurant needs to do better.
