I had such a lovely experience. Went on a Monday during the day, not busy at all. The food was delicious, their portions are quite big, which I enjoyed. Our waiter which I forgot her name was such a great joy to have and very helpful. Their tequila sunrise is basically just juice, very sweet juice.
The food and the service was amazing. Our waiter was Amos.He was great. We enjoyed our time there and we'll be visiting again soon. thank you
Booked for the early Christmas Lunch at 10:30. All staff engaging and friendly and about 40% full. However the food was at best average. I had a piece of cold pizza with a seafood cocktail and some tongue which was the hero of the starters. The seafood cocktail was made from minced seafood of a very bad quality. You could not recognize a piece of seafood in there. No taste, just sweet mayo with these minces pieces of seafood. Unpleasant. O yes, the glass it was served in was not properly cleaned. For mains I chose some lamb stew, beef slices and a meatball. The lamb was great, but very fatty, the beef was very dry and tasteless and the meatballs, well, was just that. Balls of mince with no taste, dry and still pink in the middle. I dished up some pumpkin up with it. Not good. No sweet vegetable dish. No baked potatoes. For pudding I dished up some malva pudding which was great, but again the custard had no sugar in it. Weird. There were a lot of desserts on offer, but there were no one to tell you what they were. Also no description. In fact there were no menus on the tables nor any other place available. So some of the dishes you had to quess what they were. Now this is typical when a restaurant griller need to make buffet food. They are just not trained for that. So the food is bland and without taste. There were no management available at the buffet and the person who did the carvery did not greet or say a word other than placing a piece of meat in your plate. When I went to the carvery , there were no plates. Also no sideplates for the salads. Unfortunately a sad experience from one of our favourite restaurants. Will I go again? Yes, but never again for a buffet.
Nguni grill is a very nice restaurant. Super cool I love their set up. Children's play area is big and neat. Their warm welcome and the delicious tasty food.
Ordered the vegetarian pizza without cheese I'm vegan and they graciously added avocado to replace the cheese. Amazing service. Had dinner here with friends and out waiter overheard it was my birthday when giving us our drinks order and organised for the other waiters to sing and bring a dessert and even a lucky packet. The restaurant is massive and we did get lost a few times but the staff are so helpful. Was so nice to celebrate my birthday here, such a vibe.

Best basket I had in a while. Spacious pub/restaurant. Staff amazing individuals, cracking jokes and laughs. Just an happy vibe. Well done to management and staff
My parents and I went for dinner last night 2/2/2023. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The starters arrived the same time as the main course. I ordered a beef gordon bleu - it was tasteless and the steak was so tough and dry, it was almost like chewing on rubber. The chips smelled and tasted like old cooking oil. My partner ordered the Nguni pizza - it was tasteless and the crust was like a piece of cardboard. Throughout our meal, there was the constant smell of cigarette smoke and I kept looking if I could spot someone smoking. When I went to the toilet, I discovered a bar, that reminded me of a shebeen, and then relized that it was from the bar that the cigarette smoke was coming from into the restaurant where people were dining. I'm pretty confident that it in violation of health and safety regulations. I will never recommend this establishment to anyone.
It has a hood vibe. My visit was on a Thursday evening, the place wasn't full, however, I found the service a little slow, warm beer and not a very good understanding of my order from the waiter.Food: 2/5
