If it were possible to give a rating of 0 stars, i would have done so. This is school is the most corrupt institution iv ever come across in my life! The Principle, james lambard phoned my wife who is a teacher and offered her a departmental job. He put conditions in place that she would have to quit her current job immediately and start the following Monday. She did this only to later find that the school actually could not provide this for her after all. I then personally went to the school to find out what he would do about the situation and the school promised to give her a GDE post which would pay the same as what she was earning before she quit her old teaching job. The following week we again found out that they could not provide this job for her and instead offered her a starter teacher salary! My wife has been teaching for 8 years and has a bachelors degree, honors degree and post graduate diploma in teaching. This was such as insult to her. But to make matters worse, we had already packed up our house and were ready to move in 4 days time. We had also already paid a deposit for a property to rent near by. There is no ways my wife and I were going to be able to survive. The principle has shown no remorse and has never even apologies to me for all the lies and inconvenience he has caused.

I am usually a leaner the there so it a very good school, they maybe very strict about the school uniform, rules but it is a great school

Am currently looking for a public boarding school where learners stay there, is Nigel a correct school?

I'm a Learner at Nigel High School. Just want to reply to Christopher Adam's review: Nigel High is not corrupt, The Person you have mentioned is & a few SMT members. Mr Lombard was Acting Principal at the time and we are aware of the teacher your wife that was supposed to teach at our school but didn't because of a change in salary scale. Mr Lombard offered your wife a job at the school without consulting the SGB. When the SGB heard about this they enquired additional information on this matter. The SGB complained about thr amount Mr Lombard offered your wife and the reduced it. Do not that the school's name into disrepute and through the mud just because of certain individuals!! The Current SGB has made life better for students and staff members and made a physical change within the school yard.
